chapter five

-the funeral-Katherine-

I look over to my aunt and she has a white cloth in her hand as she lets a single tear slip out. she wipes it away and looks at me and smiles sadly. I scoot over closer to her and hug her really tight she lets another tear slip and kisses my head.

" you are so much like your mother" she says. I haven't seen her in four months. she died four months ago and so did my father. I try to cheer her up

" is that a compliment?"i  ask dumbly and she chuckles and says yes. I smile and look at my brother. he is sobbing in his hands. I lookup to my ant and look back to tony. I scoot over to tony and sit up to his ear

" wanna go home and play a game and maybe watch a movie?" I ask him but then remember something.

"and I can tell you about the reason I woke up crying" he looks up at me and nods sadly and pulls me into his arms. he lifts me on his lap and kisses my cheek. I look up to him

" tony, are you okay?" I ask kissing is cheek. he looks down and kisses my head.

" I will be, someday" he says looking my eyes. I nod and look at my nails that aunty painted dark red.

-after-

I ran onto the porch with my brother right behind me chasing me. it was raining and my hair s getting gross...eeew. I run into the house and jump into the couch and cover myself with a blanket hoping he wont find me.

" oh my, where could my little sister be?" tony asks and I giggle uncontrollably and feel weight on me. I feel him grab the top of the blanket and pull them down to uncover my face and I scream of surprise and he just laughs. I hear a click and see my aunt standing there deviously. she took the picture. me and tony look ag each other and fall down laughing so hard. aunt Julie looks at us and giggles and then takes off running. we chase after her lauging still which makes us sadly slower. we find her in tonys room on the bed playing a game. we take this to our advantage and jump on her. she screams and smiles gladly and then kisses our heads. she gets up and puts on little rascals ( if you like this movie I like you) we all go under the covers and cuddle up togetherme in the middle because im awesome like that. I slowly drift off to sleep and soon I see darkness
