Above is a picture of Ashlyn
(Ashlyn POV)
My name is Ashlyn Gargein. I'm a seer and I have to find a DragonLord called Damien if I want to get my twin sister and best friend back. But to get you to understand I have to backtrack 4 years. Now pay attention 'cause there's a lot of twists to this story.
(4 years ago - (I'm serious some crazy unicorn poop goes down in this))
"Climbing rope?"
"Check"
"Packages"
"Check"
"Guns"
"Check, but I still don't understand why we need it," said Brianna.
"We're not gonna use it, it's only in case of an emergency if we get into trouble," said Neal.
"Okay, but I really hope we don't have to kill anybody cause that would look really bad on all of us. We'd never have normal life we'll be hunted down and sent to jail!" said Abigail.
"Stop overreacting Abigail, we're not even going to take that much, nobody will notice anything is missing. Are you absolutely sure you have everything packed into the Jeep?" Asked Neal for probably the twentieth time.
"For the million and tenth time Neal, yes!" said my twin Abigail. From that statement you can probably guess that she's a little (just a smidge) dramatic.
"It's just -" started Neal.
"-everything has to be perfect," said Brianna cutting him off, "We get it Neal. If things aren't 'perfect' then whatever can go wrong will go wrong and then we'll get into deep doodoo."
Now you're probably wondering why the 3 of them sound like they're planning some kind of elaborate heist, but its not what it sounds like; it's the last week before we all have to go off to our respective universities and start living like "respectable adults" as Neal's mom put it. So as our final act of teenage rebellion I decided that my twin (Abigail), my two best friends (Neal and Brianna) and I (Ashlyn the amazing unicorn ninja) would be going on a road trip...without telling the parental units. I know we're pretty badass.😎
Anyway back to the story:
"Okay Neal, we're all set, let's hit the road," I said. We all ran towards the Jeep, I couldn't resist so I said "I'm driving!" Which resulted in the three of them running back into the house and locking the front door.
"Why'd you do that?" I asked as I walked towards the door. What did I do? I don't think it has to do with my driving cause I'm pretty decent, maybe they all need to pee?!
"Sweetheart we've got nothing against you, but the last time you drove we were chased down by the cops and you almost killed some poor old lady," said Brie as she stuck he head out the door.
"First of all I still hold firm to the fact that the old lady was evil, she was trying to make me run her over so I'd get in to trouble by randomly appearing in the middle of the road. Secondly, I thought the point of this trip was to get rid of our fears?" I said.
"Getting rid if our fears doesn't mean we want to die," screamed Abigail and Neal from inside the house.
Okay so maybe I'm a bit of a reckless driver but it doesn't help that the three control freaks I call my friends never give me a chance to drive. So really it's their fault that my driving isn't getting any better. For 'where would we be if we weren't given chances?'
"Come on Ash, you know your driving scares the living shit out of everyone," said Brianna trying to diffuse the situation before I started a shouting match with Neal and Abigail.
