Chapter 4 The Academy

Aria POV

Now Kakashi is leading me to the academy, i wonder about my new life here, sure it seems difficult right now...seen as though i'm really alone, everyone's gone...

I feel a hand on my shoulder shaking me, i am brought out of my thoughts by Kakashi, i look up to him and see him looking a bit worried.

"Are you okay? We're here now." He asks me.

I nod and give a small smile. "Y-yeah, just thinking about things."

He then simply gives an eye smile and ruffles my hair.

Arriving to see a door in front of us, he opens it and now i see a whole class of children my age and a teacher at the front who has tanned skin, a scar across his nose and hair tyed up.

He looks up in surprise at us. "Oh, Kakashi-san what are you doing here at the academy?" He questions him.

"Just bringing you a new student to your class, she's new here and the Hokage would like her to join the academy and learn with people her age, she may be a bit behind but i'll be helping her with her studies in catching up in no time." He responds whilst giving him a note from the Hokage.

He nods and takes the note, reading it and then asks a few more things before Kakashi pats me on the shoulder "Well, I hope you enjoy your first day here. I'll be waiting at the gates at the end of the day for you."

"Alright." I reply shortly.

The teacher in the classroom comes over as i am stood by the doorway, he introduces himself when i walk inside to the classroom.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you, I'm Umino Iruka but you can call me Iruka-sensei, I am aware of your situation but I hope you enjoy attending the academy.If you need any help, don't be afraid to ask. Now why don't you introduce yourself to the class." He smiles warmly and I look up at him and then reply "Hi, my name's Aria, it's a pleasure to meet you all." I scan the classroom seeing various people who are different from people in my world, there is a boy with a dog on his head, then at the back a boy with hair tyed up like Iruka-sensei's and next to him. What struck me most was the boy with bright blonde hair, it was unusual to see this as it is very rare from where i come from but what i found slightly amusing was a boy with dark blue dare i say duckbutt hair , however i concealed my emotions well; keeping on a blank face. I hope i'll fit in though seeing as though at home, people seemed to worship you ground you walked on if you were someone with a high status such as the Guardian of the Avatar and people only befriending you because of that.

Well i hope i can make friends at least...

"Aria, you can sit over there between Naruto and Sasuke." Iruka-sensei told me, but i merely stared at him in confusion. I blinked and blinked. He finally understood and said "Ah! I forgot, you won't know who is who, i apologize, Naruto! Sasuke! please rais your hands so that Aria knows who you are."

Then i turn to find two boys, the ones with bright blonde hair and the dark blue *cough duckbutt *cough hair.

I walk towards them and take the seat. Since i was new, i had to catch up quickly since falling behind would just be annoying and troublesome. I sigh thinking about all these problems.

Suddenly i felt a tap on my shoulder, turning around i faced the boy with bright blonde hair. He seemed a bit shy so i gave a small smile to show reassurance that i don't mind talking and making friends.

He scratches his head and then says "Hi, my name is Uzumaki Naruto and I-I err wanted to ask if you would like to be friends...?"

I nodded and said "Of course! i would love to!" then gave him a warm smile.
