chapter 19: maybe a date?

A perfect date.
What is called a 'perfect date'?

Well, don't really know if someone can call this a date or not but Serena believed this was a date.

Grace, can I borrow your daughter for the evening? These were words that Ash said back there or something like this only he said. And this made Serena think that this is going to be a date. Though Ash completely told that they will be meeting his friends there but that time Serena was completely focused on her thoughts that Ash liked that she liked him.

She came up with wonderful fantasies of a perfect date while not paying attention to the poor teen boy who had been waiting outside her room for her to get changed.

It has been twelve hours since he has been waiting. Atleast that's what he thought. Twelve hours or not, it was clear that he couldn't take this waiting any longer.

"If you don't want to go, then I can take Grace with me to meet my friends." Ash said after knocking at her door once.

"Wait what" She finally gave some response

"Thank God you are still awake, I thought you slept in place of getting changed"

"I'm coming I'm coming, just give me another minute"  that's what she said when she first went to get changed. "And you are going with me, no need think about taking mom with you"

And that's how another forty-five minutes of a beautiful evening passed away until Serena finally came out.

"So where are we going again?"

" Coumarine city it is"

"Oh, for the opening of the new garden, right?" To which Ash gave a slight nod "but there's still some time before it starts, why don't we go somewhere else too before visiting there"

"There was some time left until a certain someone used that time for getting ready" ignoring what Ash just said, Serena grabbed on to his arm and pulled him to subway

"Did you even hear what I said?" Ash continued

"I did, but it won't take much time. And it's on the way to Coumarine City only. I really want you to visit there with me"

"Fine, as you wish"

Leading the way, Serena stopped in front of a large wall which Ash had no idea what they were here for.

"Why did we stop here?" He questioned

"Jump over it" did I heard it correct that was Ash's thought "just over the wall" Serena said again

Ash stood there with utter disbelief "can't we use a gate? I'm sure I saw a gate on the other side"

"Of Course we can't, unless you want that big fat watchman to chase after us" Uff, thinking of that watchman gives me a headache, and imagining him running after someone, its just hilarious….. I mean just look at his fats-fillied stomach, the way it bounces when he runs- Oh God bless Sir Newton for discovering Gravity or else we won't get this entertainment.

"I don't think whatever facility this is will encourage us to go in without permission and if we get caught, then forgot about Coumarine City"

"Believe me, they do encourage people to go in without permission or why would they keep a good-for-nothing watchman. If they don't encourage, they should keep a tall, strong man as a watchman who has a well built body to chase out the intruders" oh, Serena……..why would such a person even work as a watchman if he has a good figure. And the facility kept such a fat watchman to get the work done for less payment.
