So this is my new Vikklan fanfic! :)

Extra details are in the description if you want them. Or jus' drop me a message, I don't mind...

Also trying a slightly different writing style. So enjoy!

For probably the thousandth time ever, Lachlan was left contemplating why he was in the Pack. But the voice inside his head scolded, They need you! You can't leave!

He knew that was true. But, he had always felt a little bit left out and separate from the other members of the Pack.

Mitch and Jerome had the ship #Merome, and they even lived together over in Florida. Who knows what they got up to every day.

Preston and Rob were #Poofless, and there was hardly a time when you didn't see them recording together, they were that good of friends.

But Lachlan was alone, in Australia, the fifth and final member of the Pack. He had no one. No 'best friend' to talk to constantly, no one to record with when everyone else was busy. In the Pack, he was the odd one out.

Sure, there was always Pete and Kenny and Choco and all of them. But it just didn't fill up the hole inside him. (lolwhat)

He really enjoyed being with the Pack, but it just didn't feel... right. But he knew he couldn't leave; what would they do without him?

Sometimes he felt like the lifeline that everyone was clinging to. He was so busy helping everyone with their problems, but in return he got nothing. They never even bothered to try to notice Lachlan's worries, much less help with them.

As far as he knew, the other members of the Pack were perfectly content as is. Of course they are. They don't know what it feels like to be left out, because they are the ones doing the leaving-out.

There was no way he would ever persuade them to add someone else to the Pack, either. But even if they did agree, Lachlan would have no idea who to add. It would have to be someone else.

To start new. Find someone in a similar situation. But he was almost 100% sure that no-one understood.

He released his breath in a long sigh, and thought:

I am the odd one out in my group. If only there was someone else like me...
