Odd One Out › A Vikklan AU

Chapter 7

Due to plenty of requests, here's another chapter x)

also little sidenote: for the 3rd person pov, I will be calling him Vikk, but when it's Lachlan saying it (either in his thoughts, speech, or tweets), he will call him Vik. just 'cause.

What a nice summer day.

It was morning in Brisbane. After getting a few hours of decent sleep, Lachlan was refreshed and not-quite-ready for some more recordings. Fun...

He did his morning check of Twitter: scrolling through his timeline until the Tweets reached 5 hours prior, and reading some of his mentions, a couple of which caught his eye.

The first one was from Preston, asking him if he wanted to record something together.

The other one was from the one and only Vikkstar123.

Lachlan thought this was kind of strange. Does he know I've been keeping tabs on him? And how did he find me?

Damn, this is exactly like something that would happen in some random kid's fanfiction. (unu i've been found out)

Hesitantly, he replied to the Tweet with a simple "hello vik."

With that out of the way, he decided to take up Preston's offer and finally start recording (and maybe prerecording) some videos.

But no matter how much Lachlan tried to put Vikk in the back of his mind, it just kept popping up.

"You seem a little out of it today. I mean... more than normal. Everything alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." He was just thinking about how good at Minecraft Vikk would be. From what he'd seen, he was decent for someone who played it mostly only for fun and didn't record it.

"Okay, dude. But you better hurry up! Ya boi P-dawg's almost to the finish line!"

Doing the other videos were much easier, as they were just solo Factions and H2M. But still, he was quite easily distracted.

I still don't really understand why I care about this so much. Isn't this Vik just your average YouTuber? But no matter how much Lachlan tried to convince himself of that fact, he just still couldn't shake that nagging feeling.
