YOU GUYS ARE SO QUICK LITERALLY I CAN'T EVEN (I'm writing this on the same day chapter 3 went up)

this is a big chapter, prepare :DD

After the daily recordings for his YouTube channel, and one of them uploading, Vikk found he had an abundance of free time left, so he decided to hop on to the Mineplex server and maybe play some Dragon Escape.

After joining a lobby that was considerably full, someone else appeared a few seconds later, and the chat overflowed with:

"hi lachlan!!"

"omg lachlan i love your videos"

...and all the like. It was probably just a coincidence - many Minecraft YouTubers liked to play mini-games together on this server.

But something didn't seem right... Why is he recording alone? Wasn't Minecraft made more interesting with other people recording as well? Oh well, he wasn't going to question it. Maybe that was his style.

After playing a few rounds in the same lobby with "Lachlan", Vikk logged off. He had had enough fun on Minecraft for the day.

However, he was curious about one thing. The other people in the lobby had mentioned that this "Lachlan" was a YouTuber, similar to himself.

Opening up a new tab on Chrome, he typed in, "lachlan youtube." The first result was it. 'Lachlan - Minecraft & More'. Vikk clicked on the first video of his that caught his eye.

This so-called Lachlan was recording with two people with the usernames ''TBNRfrags'' and ''Woofless''. Almost immediately, Vikk could tell that Lachlan didn't seem too happy. And hey, he's from Australia.

Closing the video and taking a look at Lachlan's channel, he saw that he was part of a group called the Pack which consisted of channels "TheBajanCanadian", "JeromeASF", "MrWoofless", "PrestonPlayz - Minecraft" and Lachlan himself.

Scrolling down the list of uploads, Vikk thought, why does he have so many solo recordings if he's part of a group? And he doesn't sound too happy, either. He sighed. Well, I guess people could ask me that same question.

Then it hit him.

This Lachlan, who he had randomly met on a Minecraft server, completely and purely by chance, was in a similar situation as him.

It couldn't have been a coincidence. But it was.

He's just like me.
