It's been a few months since those phone calls and Harry can say with confidence that his life has improved since then. After his phone call with Simon, the band decided to do a hiatus (more like the band was forced to do a hiatus because of him). The rest of the time with the band was stressful, especially with the other boys trying to figure out why he wanted a break from the band.

Harry obviously didn't tell them his reason or how he came to that decision. How was he going to tell them that he got a random girl pregnant and that the girl doesn't want to keep the baby herself. How she wants him to take in the baby and raise them so she doesn't have to put them up for adoption, even if it kills her to do so. And that he then called Zayn and had him help him in the decision to split the band up but that he still didn't tell him the truth either about the baby because he's a wuss. Yeah, he's not telling the boys that. Any of it.

What Harry did tell them though, was goodbye. The band ended, went on hiatus, and he was all by myself again. Without the boys like he was during the breakup. I mean sure he distanced from them himself, not wanting the pity. The pity that he was sure he would find it in their eyes whenever they looked at him. He could see the boys comforting Lou about the breakup sometimes at the back of the bus when he walked in. He personally didn't want the comfort. He didn't want soothing words and comforting hugs. Not from them anyway. He wanted the arms that always knew how to make him feel better. The arms that made him feel like he was home. Who soothed him no matter the situation. He needed those arms, the arms belonging to the blue eyed, pea-sized person that had his heart.

So Harry withheld himself from the band, trying to somehow heal his heart himself. One way he did that is putting all his focus on the babies. The two little babies that he found out were in their mother's stomach at an appointment, another baby popping out from behind their siblings. Surprising everyone. Especially him. He's only been preparing slightly for one baby, not two. It didn't matter though because when that little baby popped out from behind their sibling Harry immediately felt a warmth in his heart like he felt when he first saw Baby A. Like everything that mattered before washed away when he saw them. His entire being was made for loving them. So he started preparing for two. He went home to his old two bedroom apartment that he shared until a few months ago, walking into the door feeling like there was no joy in the house now. He remembers walking around and being filled with sadness and mourning. Like all the air was being sucked out of his lungs. Especially going into his bedroom. So many good and bad memories that were playing on his mind bringing tears to his eyes. Harry then decided if he can't stand being in this house by himself, how was he supposed to bring the two little creatures that he loves to this apartment to raise them. He had to move.

Picking a place to live was hard. He didn't want to go back to London even though his family was there. Too many ways to run into people you didn't and the fans would expect him there. Not LA ethier for the same reasons. He wanted to move somewhere no one would know him, where he could make friends without the influence that he was Harry Styles. Where his kids could play outside and be questioned about their father. That's when he decided on North Dakota. Some small town in North Dakota with only a population of about 250 people.

He went house hunting the next time he was free for the week. Wanting to find the perfect house. He went all over town looking at houses until he found it. There was enough space to hold the three of them. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. He already had every room planned and what he wanted them to look like. He decided to move in the next two months.

While moving into the new house, he was under a lot of stress. His mom was nagging him about everything on the phone whenever she called and the boys were still calling him trying to figure out why the band had to go on hiatus. He ignored everyone except his mom, his sister Gemma, and his father Robin. So to say he was not in a good mood unloading everything in this small town in North Dakota was an understatement. He was halfway through unpacking the downstairs minding his own business unloading the kitchen shit when he heard a ruckus outside. Some trash cans being knocked down and a crash. He runs out of the house and finds a little boy laying on the ground with a bike knocked over next to him. Harry runs over to the boy and kicks the trash cans away.
