Kratika's POV
I can't believe he gave me this its so pretty "wear it" he said smiling "now you have bought it so help me wearing it" i said little shyly, and i stand in front of him facing my back and move my hair in one side and while closing the hook of chain his fingers brush against my back of neck which made a shiver run through my whole body. and just he made me wear it mummy called me saying mahir bhai is here to take me for pag phera ritual, we made our way downstairs while i was still wearing that pendant in a gold chain which also he bought with it.
when we reach there all were sitting in the living room and laughing about god knows what, i greeted everyone and neha and bhabhi looked at us in teasing manner which we ignore i mean he ignored and i blushed a little which make them smirk and then me and mahir take our leave. "so how is you husband hope you are not troubling your husband and if you then tell him there is no return policy he have to keep you" mahir said play fully while driving which make me glare at him, "i will complain to papa about you" i said, "you are married women now also you will complain to dad" he said looking at me in disbelief but i know he is just joking.
i hugged maa and papa as soon as they open the front door "you don't love us anymore after your marriage" a voice come from kitchen, and when i look its Ahana ans Bela then i hugged them saying "i will never stop loving you" . now we are sitting in my room after having lunch and we as in me, Ahana, Bela and now i am regretting it because they are asking me embarrassing questions like 'does it hurt' which made me blush and "c'mon kratika we are your friends you can tell us" Bela said and now i had enough "if you guys don't stop then i will tell about your little crush to mahir bhai bela and Ahana i will tell your embarrassing story to kartik" i said smirking and they said together "no" and said "you are not telling anything to mahir" "no he will use that against me " and finally agreed to not talk about this.
after having lunch i took a nap as i am still tired, maa woke me up because in some time prateek will come to take me back. i was sitting in my room alone for the first time today as Ahana and bela were with me whole day even when i was taking nap, i started thinking about my life how in just a month everything has changed now i am Mrs. kratika and I have such nice in laws. and Prateek when i am with him it feel like we have known eachother from years, i really like to spend time with him i started loving him since the movement he filled my partition with vermilion.
then mahir bhai called me downstairs as Prateek is here, when i was coming down i saw Prateek, i looked at him from head to toe totally checking him out who was looking so handsome in black tshirt and blue jeans i was looking toward him while coming downstairs 'looking or gawking' my subconscious mocked me 'shut up' i scolded her and now prateek is also looking toward me smirking.

Prateek's look
'ohh god why i have to embarrass myself now he know i was checking him out ' i thought then suddenly i was in air for a second then i know that i was falling down the stairs "kratika" someone should but then i feel sharp pain in my head then after a couple of seconds i saw black dots, someone took me in there arms just before i reach the ground "kratika no no no, stay awake " someone was saying but then i loose consciousness.
prateek's POV
i am at kratika's house right now to pick her up "Prateek how are you child" maa asked me, "i am fine, how are you and did you take your medicine on time" i replied, and she smile and nodded then we all talked for sometime, "Mahir call kittu" and Mahir called her. i am lucky that i am sitting on a couch which faces the stairs so i can look at her, then she come looking beautiful as always in her red saree the same one which she wore in the morning. then i saw that she was checking me out which made me smirk because i am gonna tease her.
she was still looking at me while coming downstairs then suddenly her leg slipped making her fall, "kratika" i shouted and run towards her which gathered everyone's attention and they too run towards her. i took her into my arms just before she fall last stair but her head is already injured as its bleeding, "kratika no no no wake up" i panicked as she is loosing her consciousness which is dangerous as her head is injured but she looses her consciousness.
"jiju come i will take the car out" mahir said as i took her in my arms and we both run towards the door and maa and papa followed us they looked so concerned even maa is crying, we got in car papa took the passenger seat and maa and i sit on backseat along with kratika in my arms. i took 5 min. to reach nearby hospital which thankfully bhaiya's hospital, as we enter the hospital they recognize me and bring the stretcher for her took her to E.R. , 'god please don't let something happen to her' i prayed.
soon bhaiya come towards us and asked what happened to kratika as he was here when we come someone from staff informed him, and mahir told him as i am not in the condition to answer. i feel so numb, i fell scared that what will i do if something happens to her i know its only been 1 day from our wedding but i still love her. then bhaiya informed everyone at our home and mummy and dad come along with bhabhi, neha didn't come as someone has to stay with vivan. after 20 minutes which feel like years doctor come outside, me along with bhaiya went towards him "how is her condition doctor " i asked him, "yes doctor sharma, is she out of danger?" bhaiya asked him.
