Ep12: An Unwanted Tale

"Can you tell me the story of the fourth moon again?"
She was unsure about it and felt like she hasn't moved on from the stupid fairytale but for some reason she's still holding unto it. I mean what could be any other reason she has a second quirk?!

Her parents stared at her confused for a while before her mother asked...

"The fourth moon? That old fairytale?" The brunette nodded to this and responded.

"Yeah! I want to hear the full story again."

Myths surely come from somewhere....

THE FOURTH MOON~

Narrator's POV

A long time ago... before the existence of quirks came to fruition. There lived a townsman, he was a merchant and sold whatever he had.... sometimes even the last piece of food he had left to get more.

He was kind and selfless but was also heavily filled with lust, falling in love with almost every woman that crossed paths with him. He loved the thought of gold and diamonds and would do any job to get these items but one day... when he took a dive in the beautiful spring lake during night time when no one was around... the moon shone brighter than ever.

For a second, he mistook it for the sun and when he got out.... he felt different... something had changed, but he couldn't tell what it was. It was until he was almost killed by a hunter later the next day, who mistook him for an animal that he noticed this change...

The power to heal anyone even himself by just one touch... "this is a gift from God!" He exclaimed in awe and glee... using this tactics he healed the people in the village, everyone around him. Even in war he was used to bring their country to victory, Whether they were precious people to him like family or complete strangers who were seeking help from him.

It didn't take long before he became known world wide and grew to be one of the richest men in the country, almost surpassing the king himself in diamonds and gold but........his sanity didn't last long.

He became greedy and selfish, killed anyone mercilessly even though they committed the littlest mistake and slept with any woman he ordered to have.
He started to scare the people, he wouldn't even heal them unless they payed a fine and cast his family aside. Not even giving them a dime from what he had earned.

Though as the mourn grew, when the people thought they were doomed and have brought perish unto themselves.... the man just......disappeared...

"Disappeared?" The brunette asks as her mother nodded slowly. "He was no where to be seen and could never have been found, after that everyone forgot who was.... it was like he never existed." Ochako gulped at her mothers unique response... disappear? How is that even possible? I thought this world was built on quirks...

"I remember how you used to cry because of the ending..." Her father chuckled delightedly and her mum joined in soon after. "How did he disappear again?"

"No one knows..."

"Then if they've forgotten... how did the story come to be?"
Her mum shrugged. "It doesn't matter it's just a fairytale. A silly story..."
