my favorite thing about you: you take your wildest dreams seriously. big ideas, 40 jazz musicians on a whiteboard, chalk motivations up and down your walls, a name ten stories high on your castles in the clouds. you believe in your passion, walk through it intentionally, and it makes you inspiring.
a brief definition of your shape in my mind:
strong hands from the saxophone with the precision to solder circuits, ready to laugh, easy to read, inventing new dreams every minute and picking up skills and friends to achieve them with, determined to get further every daydo you remember when: we went out on the terrace, that first time, and stared out into boston, the city of our dreams that we didn't know how to dream yet, elbows on the balcony, trading life stories and introductions. it was a big moment, the start of everything, but it was also natural, easy like a friend i had known forever. you dreamed as big as i did, different goals but with the same thoughtfulness and stubborn optimism that i hope i have. i knew that if we stayed friends, i would be lucky, as we talked under the stars for the first, but not last time.
i can't wait to: introduce you to Indian food, be sleep deprived and see sunrises without doing both at the same time, make music together, grow together
i hope to give you:
someone who hears you, for big news and little news
a co-user of your hat
late nights and i'll tell you laterswhat you ask for and nothing more, what you need and nothing less
