Chapter 8 : Call me

I woke up to a text from Anthony LaRusso, asking how I slept.

That's sort of weird...

"I slept pretty good, how are you?" I responded.

Then, while waiting for a text back, I walked to the kitchen and poured some cereal.

Today's Saturday. After I ate, I checked my phone.

No response.

That's okay, I'll just go shower.

I took a long, warm shower and then blew my hair dry. It was pretty and soft. I let it down.

I checked my phone again for an answer.

Nothing.

Ugh! Okay okay, It's fine. Just distract yourself!

I called Eli and asked if we had training today. He said no.

So, my last resort was Kenny.

I was so nervous to text him, But i did it anyways.

"Hey! Call me when you get the chance."

That's all I said.

It was about 2 minutes later when I got a call from Kenny.

Oh thank god, he doesn't hate me.

I answered.

"Hey Kenny!" I said.

"What's up?" he asked.

"Nothing much. I'm just really bored today. What are you doing?"

"I have training today, but before that, nothing."

"Oh yeah. Speaking of that, I apologize for what Eli did at the drive in. He just.. he had it rough when he was in Cobra Kai and he doesn't want you to end up like he did."

Kenny just sighed.

"Whatever, I'm not leaving."

I just sat there. No response could come to my head.

"I'll talk to you later Kenny." I said.

"Okay. Bye Y/n." he said back.

I hung up and laid on my bed.

I'm so bored.

But, then I got another call.

Anthony LaRusso.

Oh my god. Finally!

I answered almost right away.

"Hey!" he said

"Hi Anthony! What's up?" I answered.

"Not much. Kinda bored today."

"Yeah, same."

"Well, I was thinking.. Y'know, maybe we can.."

He hesitated.

"Y'know, hang out. Maybe go to the local arcade? Or the mall. Or maybe even golfing!"

"That would be great Anthony!" I answered.

I was too excited.

My mood boosted up 10% more than it already was.

Today's gonna be so fun.

"We should definitely go to the arcade." I said.

"Okay, cool! How is 3:30?"

"Great! I'll see you there" I said, with a huge smile on my face, so big you can probably hear it through the phone.

"Cool!" he said back. "See you then."
