Sidney had stayed at the station since the morning, waiting for Dewey to return with some news but she wasn't called once and it was already past midday. She was sitting at the same place she did all those years ago as bad memories kept flooding in her mind. Sidney could remember Tatum rubbing her back after she got attacked by the killer. She was always there for her, until Sidney found her friend stucked in the garage door. She had being mortified that night and it didn't end there. Sidney closed her eyes, rejecting any images surfacing.
She grabbed her phone, ready to dial her daughter. She was suppose to get back this morning and she felt awful for not calling her. What if something really happened this time? She was worried when she saw Y/N with a bloody hand in a fist as well as her dresser mirror broken in pieces. Whatever was happening to her, her daughter wasn't telling Sidney. She wished she did.
The ringing of the phone alerted Sidney, thinking it was Y/N but she was surprised when the contact of the reporter came up. She answered."Gale?"
"Hey Sidney, are you alone?"
Her question made Sidney get up of the office chair, brows furrowed in confusion. "I'm at the police station. Dewey said he'll returned." She looked around. "But it's being a while. Is he with you?"
Gale shook her head, like it could've being seen from the other line. "Not anymore. Listen Sidney, find a place that nobody can listen."
"You're freaking me out now." She said seriously. She walked to an empty room, barricading the door from the inside before looking out the window. "Alright, I'm alone. What is it?"
Sidney heard the other woman sighed. "Dewey is in the hospital. He texted me that this Ghostface had reappeared and to stay far away, but you know me." There was silence. "I didn't listen to him and when I got here, he was in a litter after being stabbed in the back six times."
Sidney was at a lost of words.
"But he told me that this killer didn't use a voice changer like before. Dewey told me how much it was familiar, that it reminded Dewey of him."
Sidney shivered inside. She knew what Gale was getting at but she didn't want any of this to be real. "Gale..."
"Dewey is sure it was Loomis, Sidney. I didn't believe him either but..."
"Gale, I killed them that night!" Sidney exclaimed for only her friend to hear. "You were there!" Her hands were shaking.
"After we escaped, the police didn't find their bodies, Sidney. I don't want it to happen again, just like you, but it isn't impossible."
She tried to calm herself, but Gale had more to say. "There is more.""What?" Sidney doubt that whatever else the woman had to say would be worse than what she heard already.
"When I arrived at Dewey's house, I found your daughter with her friends." Gale started, hearing the mother murmuring in disbelief in the phone. "We talked shortly but I think she knows, Sidney." Gale revelation felt like Sidney was crushed multiple times.
"Y/N knows she's Billy Loomis daughter."
CHANGED POV
The three of you walked inside the video store, the bell ringing when you entered by the door. You made your way through the aisles. "So what type of movie are we watching tonight?"
"How about some scary movies?" Max responded excited before being punched lightly by Sasha. "Will you stop already?! I was just making a proposition!"
"And you never think before talking." She whispered yelled, crossing her arms. "We want Y/N to pass a good time, not creating what she went through all over again!"
The two continued to bicker as your mind wandered on its own as you gazed at the movies placed. Maybe horror would still be enjoyable, it was just fiction. When you looked up, three guys you knew were here.
Billy, Stu and Randy.
The first one was gripping Randy shirt while Stu hold him in an almost choking manner with a big smile on his face. "How do we know you're not the killer? Huh?!"
You felt Randy gulped. "You're absolutely right. I'm the first to admit it. If it was a scary movie, I would be the prime suspect."
"That's right."
It was a time you wished you were seeing with your own eyes because both were extremely intimidating up close, especially your father.
"Y/N?" You jumped when a hand touched your shoulder. "Are you okay? Where you having your," Sasha dragged the silence with slow movements. "you know."
"Yeah, sorry for spacing out."
"What was this one about?" Max asked curiously.
"I prefer telling you two at home." You responded, looking over your shoulder. "Oh no..."
Sasha and Max eyes looked at the same place you did, understanding about your reaction: Carter was there and he was walking toward the three of you.
"Damn, Y/N. Didn't know your taste in men lower that low!" He smugly laughed, making the boy next to you become red. "With him? Really?"
You eyed your ex boyfriend with irritation. "Max is my friend, and it shouldn't concerned you at all if I was going out with him. He's better than you had when we were together."
Max and Sasha looked at the two of you in shock. It is one of the rare time they saw you angry. You really had enough with this guy.
"Don't act like I am the villain." He pointed to you menacingly. "You want to be in a relationship but you keep refusing everytime the other want to have sex!" Carter spat with venom. "I have a girlfriend who prefer to be with her whimpy ass friends than touch me?!"
Understand what? That I have a girlfriend who would rather accused me of being a psychopathic killer than touch me?
"What the fuck did you say?!" Sasha exclaimed with fury in her eyes while Max was having the same feelings but trying to restrain her instead of causing a scene at the video store.
Something in you snapped and you weren't thinking. Your fist made collision with Carter's face, making his body fall. He grabbed where you hit him.
"I don't know how it happened, Carter, but I loved you. Until I saw you cheated with Carla!" You exclaimed. "You're so self-centered that you can't even have an honest relationship without sleeping around with other girls!"
Everyone's attention in the store was on you four, confused on what was happening. Fortunately, the worker yelled kindly at Carter to "Get the fuck out before I call the police on your ass."
