the party pt2

kate's pov

it was now around 9 pm and the party started at 2 so most family/cousins were gone and that's when the fun started to happen. i am in the middle of the dance floor perfect view of the whole backyard as i look to my left and see eva playing tongue hockey with this football player named jack and then watch the stairs as nick and elise exit going inside to probably fuck or something, so their i am on the dance floor dancing around with literally my whole school like i own the place because quite frankly I do as the dj keeps on playing bangers after bangers i give in and decide i need a drink so i head over to the bar.
"can i have a malibu sunrise please" i say as the bartender doesn't even answer me and just starts to get to work on my drink, a tall boy had came up next to me
"so kate how does it feel to finally be graduated from high school" i look over to my left and see the boy i linked eyes with earlier trevor, i barely talk to him all night so I thought this is my chance to play hard to get with the smoke show
"it feels amazing but who are you again?" knowing damn well that this is trevor zegras
"ouch, not going to lie that lowkey hurt"
"and why is that mr.zegras" i say with a smirk
"because i know you remember what my name was" and right as i go to respond my drink come out
"well trevor it was good to talk to you for a hot minute but i have to go, i have places to be and people to kiss see ya" i say walking away with my drink and one hand and waving goodbye with my other as i return back to the dance floor.

trevor's pov

"damn"  i though she is so fine and she's playing the long game right now i have no idea where the rest of the boys were but i really don't care all i can think about is how badly i wanna kiss kate sacco right now.
"ill have a rum and coke" i say as the bartender turns around to get to work on my drink i think about how badly i wanna kiss kate right now then jack pops into my mind i remember what he said to all of us week before we came here to boston how they were off limits, my thoughts were interrupted as my drink came out and i got a sudden urge to get up and walk over to the dance floor to dance with kate my head was saying no but the next thing i knew i was walking over to the big group of drunken teenagers on the dance floor, i mean what jack doesn't know won't hurt him. 

kate's pov

i am dancing around the same way i was before until i feel a pair off arms wrap around my waist at this point i'm so drunk to even care who it is continue dancing, until i get the urge to turn around, i turn around and i see a chest now realizing they are way taller than me so i look up and see the boy i have been trying to play hard to get with holding on to me giving me butterflies. i go on my tippy toes indicating that I'm about to tell Trevor something so he bends down just enough so I'm at his ear
"why don't you say we go for a walk get out of here actually get to know each other"
"i would love that" he says with a huge smile
i pull him by his hand to exit my backyard with him following as we are walking out i drop the first question
"so trevor any plans for you after you get drafted, like where are you going to school"
"well actually i'm going to bu so i think you will see a lot more of me kate might need to show me around boston" i giggle
"is that so, well i will have to check my schedule to see if i could make spare time for you" we are now in the middle of the street right under a street light
"you know kate you are quite the flirt"
"why thank you i try to be" i respond now we are just standing there right in front of each other stating into each other's eyes
"well are you going to kiss me or what" i say as trevor drops his drink on the cement with his left hand resting on my lower back and right hand cupping my face kissing me like i was the only person in the world and me kissing back obviously, i pull away and say
"i have been waiting for your to do that all night"
"i can tell by the way you kissed me back" he chirps back and then leaning into a another kiss as i stop him right as our lips are about to meet
"god kate your such a tease" he says flustered as i just rejected him, i turn around and start to walk back into my back yard leaving trevor out in the street wanting more of me.

a/n ok i wasn't planing on this being a super slow chapter i was planing on have the party be one whole chapter but ig not lol it's very short but it's currently 2:00 am and i have school tmr so i'm really sorry that i'm going to have to leave your guys on a cliffhanger to see what happens next;)
