Me and my best friend, Kitty were walking to our dorm, holding hands. At that moment, I forgot about Daisy, Hazel, Lavinia, even Chutney. At that moment, I focused on Kitty because she was my best friend. We walked together, hand-in-hand towards our dorm. When I stood outside, I had to cover my ears because the dorm was making so much noise.
As soon as Kitty opened the door, there was silence in the room - all the laughing and smiles vanished, the noise disappeared, and the eyes turned to us. "Beanie!" Hazel squealed, "It's good to have you back!"
"Hi, everyone!" I said quietly. Sometimes, I am very shy.
"Alright, guys, let's have a Detective Society meeting!" Daisy said happily.
"Yay! Finally!" said Kitty.
At that time I felt confused and hurt. This was because:
1. Kitty never told me about a meeting and she always tells me everything.
2. I didn't know why we were having a meeting, anyway!
I didn't want to annoy Daisy, so I just smiled and pretended that I knew everything. "Yay!" I said in my best false voice, "A detective society meeting!" That is when I felt that was the worse time in my life.
