Lesley sighed as she leaned on the balcony, staring at the beautiful stars covering the nightsky. She had been staring at them for a few minutes now.

"This is almost perfect." She whispered, a smile slowly adorning her face.

"Why make it almost?" A familiar voice came from behind her as she heard the balcony's door open and close again.

The smile on her face slowly vanished and she sighed again as she turned around to pay her respects.

"Your Highness, second prince, what brings you here?" She slightly bowed her head and avoided looking at him.

"A certain lady with a beautiful name, Lady Lesley." He tried to sweettalk her.

She smiled fakely and felt a vein on her forehead almost popping. "You can't sugarcoat your way to me, Prince Izana."

Izana sighed and rubbed his neck. "Les, I'm really sorry. I know it was rude of me to go without telling you but I really had to."

"You have magic, Izana! You could've used it to send a message! You didn't even send a single letter or used teleportation! I was worried sick and overthinking!" She couldn't stop herself from slightly raising her voice.

Normally, raising your voice against royals are strictly forbidden, as well as addressing them so casually but—

"How can she address brother so casually and even scold him? I mean, I don't think brother is the type to take that much informality from anyone, even from friends." Arien asked.

Emma giggled. "Oh, it's very much fine!"

Mikey snorted. "Trust me, that brother of ours doesn't mind at all."

"In fact, he'd be more scared if Lesley starts acting oh-so politely." Shinichiro nodded.

"--Everyone was asking me about you! But what could I say? I don't even know anything! You don't tell me anything at all!"

"I know, I'm really sorry, I—"

"Everyone was asking if our engagement was broken! Even if this was only an arranged one, can't you atleast still inform me? Don't you trust me?"

"Wait, they're engaged?!"

"Yep!"

"But Brother Izana's apologizing, does he have feelings for her?"

"But he still didn't treat her fair, I don't think he does."

"Hey now, ofcourse he loves her, afterall, if he doesn't---"

"Ofcourse it isn't, I would never dare break our engagement. And I'm sorry if I made you feel that way, but that isn't the case at all, I trust you with my life, Lesley."

"Then why is it that you don't tell me?"

"—why would he ask Dad to get him engaged with Lesley?"

"Because I don't want to put you in danger. That's all I can tell you for now, but please believe me, Lesley, I do trust you, I....."

"You what?"
