“Good morning, Mr. McKenly. I did make sure that his condition is being monitored well, VIP pa naman ito at may parte sa akin na nag-aalala. I saw many scars from a healed wound, ’yong iba mula sa tama ng bala at iba tila daplis lang ng isang kutsilyo.
“I’m okay, Doc.
I still acted like I don’t know him, after all nasa ospital kami. I need to be a professional. Also, he said that we should treat everyone equally and fairly.
After I check is condition, a deafening silence is heard. I fake a cough.
“Uhm, to formally introduce myself. I’m Doctor Lucas Xzavier Schneider, the one who operate you and also, your attending physician.” nilabas ko ang aking kamay na nasa loob ng coat ko at inilahad ito sa kaniya.
“Yes? What is it?” sagot ko habang dahan dahang tinatanggal ang kamay niya na nakahawak sa kamay ko. I felt something, like electricity when his skin came contact to mine. What a weird feeling, i thought.
“Can i eat or at least drink some water? I woke up like around 5am then this guy here” sabay lahad ng kaniyang kamay sa lalaking nakaupo sa may couch “said that i can’t drink nor eat until your permission is given. So? Can I eat now or drink water? My throat is so dry that my own saliva can’t satisfy” mahabang salaysay niya. I chuckle a bit, cute.
“Yes, you can. But the hospital will give you food so just endure it a little. I think breakfast will be serve later on since you’re in the VIP section, don’t worry with the food. I know how much rich people is picky with their foods, but not all of them, ’yong iba lang. But wait? Did I just called him earlier cute? What have gotten with you Lucas? At the Bar you find him handsome and now cute? Nakakatakot ka na. I just shrugged that thought off, baka guni guni ko lang.
