The days of the departure drew nearer and nearer. Anya sham's nonsense didn't get to me much since I know how she'll be so pissed at us not running it by her first.

I throw a grape in my mouth, ignoring the ruckus that's happening behind me. "I told you to keep it well! Imbeciles! Just keep it and get out of my sight." Anya sham shouts to the young boys that shattered the mirror she just ordered.

I smile, happy at the inconvenience she's going through. "Sai anjuma (till later)". The boys chorused before stepping out of the house. I keep the bowl on the table, crossing my legs watching. I found a new series that caught my attention.

"Stupid boys, can you believe what they did?!" She walks in talking like we're friends. I ignore her watching. She sits on the other sofa, hissing continuously. It's seemed like she was begging me to ask but no, I won't do that, why will I?

I laugh at the phrase one of the actors said which made her look at me. I could feel her glare, don't care.

Before we reconciled with fayadth, I spent more time with Anya sham than him so I'm used to her but sometimes, she finds news buttons to push that hurts.

"Aren't you supposed to be ashamed of yourself?" She asks, still not making me look at her. "Your mates are there getting pregnant and giving birth but you're laughing. All you can do is eat and gain weight, nothing else."

I laugh again, clapping my hands and taking the bowl of fruits to eat. "Am I not talking to you?!" She stands in front of the tv,switching the tv off by the socket.

I take my phone placed beside me, scrolling through it.

"Stop playing like a fool and get pregnant or give birth. He must no longer be hesitating the marriage by the way you're going." I try to swallow it, ignoring her.

She scoffs, taking her bag. "Don't worry, I'll give him a real woman with good home training that can actually bear a child for him. Not a shell." She huffed, slamming the door.

I keep my phone beside me, looking at the remote on the table. Her words were cruel, not shocking but it hit a nerve. I close my eyes feeling a tingly sense on the tip of my nose.

I suck in my lips, pulling myself together. I won't shed one more year to a person like her. No way. I take a deep breath, opening my eyes.

My phone rings and I pick it, seeing ibtisam. I answer, putting it on loudspeaker. "Hey, how you?" I ask in a cherry tone.

"Good, how about you get ready. Let's go out for lunch." I feel this happiness internally. "Really? I'll be ready, where are you now?"

"On my way, don't rush yourself. I need to rest a bit at yours anyways." I take my phone, running to my room throwing my phone on the bed. "I need to rush, I don't like keeping people waiting."

I take out different clothes, trying to pick one. "I'm at the gate." I groan, walking back to my phone. "Wait, when did you decide that we're going out?"

"Now, see you in a sec."

"Kay-Kay." I hang up, sitting on the bed.

Fayadtg's point of view.

I clasp my hands, thinking. "If we are to accept this company's deal, we'll start the project sooner. We aren't sure about the other investor. They still aren't ready, they're still skeptical."

Kingsley warns, like he knew what I was thinking. I shake my head, standing up. "We can't accept that people, not only is it too easy but we'll be losing. We could wait patiently and later find a better investor."

I walk to him, his confused expression on his face showing how he's not agreeing. "We'll lose a lot money. It's like you're not taking this seriously ".

"Okay, we do that and we still lose a lot of money. They are offering to give us $50million for that when it's supposed to be at $60million. Why will we let them have $10million? Just like that? No. In fact, while we wait for an investor, we'll make changes that might increase its standards and price."

Kingsley hisses, pacing. "How are you so sure we'll have these investors?"

"I know we will, Insha Allah. We have and audience of wealthy investors and shareholders here and internationally. It's actually a gain and it's like like it's a pressing matter. Just something by the way, why do you want us to sell it ASAP?" I take an apple, throwing it in the air and catching it.

"I just..I don't want us to lose money. I know we have enough stacked but losing $50mil isn't something you can shrug off."

"That's true." I walk to my seat, taking a bite from the apple. "I'll get out of your hair, see you later." He turns, walking out of the office. I scoff, smiling.

I press the button on the telephone, calling my secretary.

"Yes, sir."

"Do copy the files I sent to you earlier and send it to my email,  to all of my addresses."

"Okay, which one sir? The files are much."

"The file mentioning the transfer of company funds."

"Immediately, sir."

I hang up, looking at the view. I have problems at home and here, the only thing making my day is seeing afeeya. What can I do for her?

********

I open the door, thanking god I'm back home. I hear laughter from inside the house while I lock the door. She walks in, her grin actually making me happy. At least her mood didn't get ruined.

"Hey." She hugs me as I kiss her head. "Hey."

"How's work? Take it was good." She looks up at me. "Great, you look good." I lean in placing a kiss on her lip.

"Yeah? Went to the spa, salon and ibtisam's house. It was fun."

"That's great. So you went to the spa?" I throw my cap on the sofa close to me, pulling her closer to me. She giggles, pulling away from me. "Yeah, maybe I'll let you see the work done but first, dinner."

I chuckle, following her. "I actually made a potato...what do the call it? I totally forgot! Just taste it." She turns to look at me. "You sure it's good?" She opens her mouth, shocked by my words. I laugh, sitting down.

"I'm going to act like I never heard that and I'm not hurt."
