As soon as I reached my apartment I started digging through my closet looking for something decent. What should I wear? I wanted to look like I am not trying too much but still pretty. I decided to wear a dress and a blazer over it to make it formal. I took a hot shower and started getting ready. I looked at myself in the mirror. It just doesn't feel right. Am I moving on too fast? All these thoughts were concerning me. The doorbell rang bringing me back to reality. I quickly applied a bit of red lipstick and rushed out.

"Hii," I said smiling. He kept staring at me. I raised my eyebrows still smiling.

"Woww You look amazing. This is different!" He said and I blushed. Compliments are always sweet and makes me sway immediately. "Shall we go miss?" He asked as I nodded my head.

He opened the car door for me. Silence flowed between us. I looked at him. He does look handsome in suits. "What are you looking at?" He asked. "You!" I said.

"Wow, You're good at flirting!" I made my proud face and we both laughed. We reached our destination. It was a rooftop restaurant with a lot of candles and dim yellow lights. He took us to our table. We had our own private space. It was my first time being somewhere this fancy. I looked around in amusement like a little child.

"This way miss." He led the way. "Now stop calling me that!" He smiled.

"What if I don't want to?" He asked pulling the chair for me. "I won't go easy on you!" I said smirking. "Ok fine!" He said chuckling. We ordered and started talking.

"I gotta say this place is too beautiful for a mere business dinner," I said with my eyes wandering around. "Then just don't consider it as one!" He said pouring me the wine. I smiled.

"So what did you learn in college? I've seen you at the cafe but never got a chance to talk." I asked.

"I majored BBA there and started my own company right after my masters."

"Pretty easy huh?" I asked sipping the wine. "Not really!" He said

"Ohh sorry I didn't mean it in that way... I just tend to be a little too friendly." He laughed at my words." What's so funny?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Nothing. I just can't believe that I ran on to you like this. I've always wanted to talk to you back in college but you were always engaged in one way or other."

"Actually I've noticed you back then. My friend Appu had a crush on you back then." I said.

"She did?" He asked in confusion. "Of course she did! It was so obvious. I mean most of the girls came to the cafe for you and not the coffee." I said leaning forward.

"I know that but the girl whom I was interested in wasn't waiting for me she just wanted her coffee. It was as if she would die without the coffee. I laughed. "Sounds like how I waited for my turn in line! Anyway, who's this girl?" I asked.

"Just this girl." He said. "Is it a secret?" I asked in a low voice.

"Kind of." He whispered back. "Why didn't you make a move though? I mean girls were dying to talk to you."

"Not this one though and that's what made her special!" He said smiling."You're blushing oh my lord!"

"So do you still like her?" I asked cutting into my food which was amazing. "Yeah." He answered.

"We can be friends you know. At first, I thought you were hitting on me. I mean you asked me out on a date and even talked about me moving on. To be honest for a moment there, you got me all nervous. But you sincerely love this girl and she's lucky no doubt. I'll help you in every way possible."I said. "Cheers to her and our friendship.."I said raising my fine glass with a bright smile.

"Cheers.."
