Chapter 3 - Unexpected... Surprise?

Adeline took a deep breath as she looked in the mirror, smoothing down her dress as she fiddles with her watch while taking slow and deep breaths, how she wished Genim was here to calm her nerves though there is also the chance that he would start a brawl with Klaus in the middle of the schoolyard.

As she turns to see Caroline giving her an encouraging smile as she dreads the words that come from her mouth. "They're here." Adeline plasters an award winning smile on her face, to the regular person there would be nothing wrong with it but Caroline who had known the girl since she was in diapers, she could tell this was killing Adeline.

The mikealsons are all waiting outside as they admired the grounds the boarding house had quite a lot of renovations that it went through accommodating more and more students as children of all ages and species walked across the ground as they head to class.

"Adeline?" Elijah questions though the height difference very clearly told the man that it physically couldn't be her. "Sorry?" The girl questions politely. "My apologies you just look like somebody I used to know." Elijah tells the girl who gives Hope a small smile. "It's okay, I get it a lot. I am the spitting image of my mother." The girl smiles warmly.

"Your mother?" Rebekah questions. "Adeline, my mother, I assumed you knew her?" The girl questions. "Your Adeline's daughter?" Rebekah questions in shock. "The one and only, Jenna-Rose." She introduces.

"We're..." "I know who you are, your Uncle Kol. Mom talks about you, a lot." Jenna-Rose points at the man, disregarding the others. "She does?" Kol questions with a small smile. "Course, she does." Jenna-Rose shrugs.

"Though, I am slightly annoyed that you didn't tell me you were alive." Adeline tells the boy as she appears by the side of her daughter along with Caroline.

The mikealsons all look wide eyed at the girl, not even noticing that the women was headed towards them, they were clearly all shocked and slightly unnerved they hadn't been expecting to see her this soon or ever and especially not here.

"Sorry about that." He meekly apologizes as Adeline shrugs it off to glad to see him, plus it wasn't like she could judge seeing as Genim hadn't told anyone he was alive it wasn't like she could judge. She smiles at her long lost best friend as he hugs him one which Kol gladly responds too. "I'm glad your okay." She tells the man who gives her a charming smile. "You haven't aged a day." He tells her, obviously referring too the fact that she was now a vampire.

"Long story." She tells him as he nods in understanding. "Well, I've gotta head to class. See you around Hope, don't be afraid to ask for help." She tells the girl. "Bye Mom, Aunt Care." She smiles at the two before heading off to class. "Rose, if you see Max, tell him to come see me." Adeline calls out as Rose sticks a thumb up before walking off to Olivia.

"Hi, you must be Hope." Adeline smiles warmly at the girl who nods with a smile. "Welcome to the Salvatore Boarding School, I'm the deputy headmistress Mrs. Salvatore." Caroline introduces as they all look slightly surprised by her last name.

"Stefan?" Rebekah questions shocked as Caroline nods, the two best friends suppressing an eye roll, at the heartbroken look Rebekah gives them as if she was his epic love or something and as if her husband wasn't standing next to her.

"I'm Mrs Parker or Mrs Gilbert a lot of the students mix and match, i'm the headmistress." Adeline smiles at the girl whereas Klaus grits his teeth, in annoyance as his eyes wander down to the huge diamond ring sitting on her finger, surprised any of them missed it, seeing as satellites could pick it up from outer space. It was considerably larger than any of the rings that rested on any of the Mikealsons, Davina's being the only one that could be compared.
