when we pulled into the drive way nick helped me carry my bags into the house. his parents greeted me at the door. they welcomed me to massachusetts and told me to make myself at home and they hoped they would be able to catch up with me later because they both had to leave for work.

after we finally got into the house nick carried my stuff to a room. "this is my older brothers room, but he works out of town for long periods of time so he won't be home for a while you can crash here." nick explained. "so you have another brother?" i asked.

"yeah i have three brothers." he said. "how come i've known you since middle school and you've never mentioned anything about have multiple brothers especially the part where you forgot to mention you're a triplet?" i asked.

"i don't know. i guess it just never came up." he said. "nick come on dont play that game. what's the real reason why you didn't tell me? just tell me i promise i won't laugh or be mad or anything." i said.

"well, my whole life it's always been about the triplets and always going the same places and doing the same things as chris and matt. and when i become friends with people most of the time they only talk to me to get closer to matt and chris. so, when i went to the camp, chris and matt didn't wanna go. so i thought it would be a great experience for me to do something on my own. and i met you and you liked me for me. not because you thought my brothers were cute. you wanted to be my friend and well, i guess i liked that. i liked you only knowing me and not three of me." he said.

"aww nick that would never happen. i would never use you to get to your brothers. from what i can tell your brothers seem so lame. they didn't even speak in the car. i would never choose them over you. i mean come on now i flew all the way here to see you." i smiled. "that's true you did. and hey cut the guys some slack. they're just shy at first. they'll warm up to you. just give them time." he replied
