Athena's pov:

I woke up to my mom knocking on my door asking me if i'm awake, as soon as she walked in she when directly to my curtains and pulled them open. The sun was already rising, here in the eastern parts which made me groan a little . Luckily it was already friday and the weekend was just 8 hours away,my boyfriend and I were going out to his parents cabin as soon as school was out.

''How's my little vampire doing?'' she asked pulling the covers off of me and helping me sit up.''I'm okay mom really, you don't have to baby me anymore I can walk perfectly fine now'' I tried to stop myself from rolling my eyes at  her.

I accidentally fell during cheerleading practise last week tuesday while trying to make a pyramid and sprained my ankle my mom well, my mom didn't take the news well. Doctor Aiken said I had to walk with crutches for the next 2 to 3 weeks. Says a lot yeah I know.

''Come on get ready you have school in an hour young lady. Just cause you got your ankle sprained doesn't mean you can't go to school'' mom practically scolded me she left the room. I know is said i could walk perfectly fine but i lied,I could barely even stand up right let alone walk so I dragged my leg as i went to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth

after my shower I got dressed in a long yellow flower dress with some white sandals and my boyfriend's denim jacket. I decided to let my hair hang loose today it's been awhile since i let my hair loose . I threw my bag over my shoulders and  grabbed my crutches before hustling down the stairs slowly, making sure i didn't fall. AGAIN

I successfully made my way down the stairs and into the kitchen without falling or breaking anything with these crutches, fortunately.   I wonder how people walk in this things! upon entering the kitchen I saw my dad sitting in the dining room reading the newspaper as usual, I walk up to him and i place a kiss on his cheek before greeting him''Good morning Mr.Young'' I cherp in his ear happily before turning around to leave and make my way back into the kitchen

''Ahh good morning sweetheart'''dad beamed from the table'''how's the sprain doing?'' he asked returning to his paper. ''ugh still hurts and these crutches aren't helping either'' I said rolling my eyes while sitting back down at the counter '' Do we need to visit the hospital again?''mom asked as she handed me my plate with fried eggs and toast on it

And walking over to dad doing the same and sitting down beside him''I don't think so mom,but thank you''i say, earning a humm from herin return. As i was about to dig into my breakfast my phone vibrated on the counter. I picked it up to see a call come through,it was Aiden

''Hey, im outside you ready?" '' Uh yeah, I'll be right out...'' I hung up and placed the phone down on the counter before stuffing my face with bacon and putting the plate in the sink. ''Hey mom,dad Vaughn's here so I'll be off'' I trailed of as i took my bag and yelled my final goodbye making my way out the door and into Vaughn's arms.
