mommy dearest

I woke up to the loud alarm sounding from my phone. I rub my eyes and drag myself out of bed, i walk to the shower and strip, the shower had high end brands.

I get out of the shower and dry myself off, i get out the blow dryer from under the sink and start drying my hair. My once dull h/c has returned to its original bright h/c.

I get dressed in some black pants, a white blouse top, and some black heels. I exit the room and make my way over to the boys rooms. I knock softly on Daikis door and i hear a tired "come in".

"Hey, its time to wake up." I gently shake his shoulder and he blinks his eyes open. He groans and pulls himself up.

"Ill be dressed in 3" I nod my head and exit the room shutting the door softly behind me.

Next was Naoki, i was a bit nervous about waking him up. Hes a 4 year old and usually they aren't the fondest of waking up.

I knock softly on the door and enter with an "Im coming in." I look over to see Naoki sleeping on his back with the blankets brought up to his chin. I felt so bad for waking him up but i needed to be done.

"Hey hun, time to get up." His head slowly turns to me and a bright smile appears on his face.

"Mamma!" He jumps out of the bed and gives me a hug around my neck. I sat there in shock, ive known him for 2 days and hes called me mamma. I should tell Ichiro.

"Do you need help getting dressed?" He removes his arms from around my neck and jumps on his bed.

"Nu-uh i can do it myself!" He crosses his arms over his chest  with a wide smile.

"Alright, breakfast will be done soon." I chuckle and shut the door behind me.

I walk downstairs to the kitchen and on my way i see Daiki sitting in the dining room with his backpack resting at his feet.

I find the eggs in the fridge and start scrambling them, i get some biscuits and pop them in the oven, and get out some orange juice.

Soon enough breakfast was done and i put the boys plates down in-front of them.

"Thanks mommy!" He says before he starts digging in. I look over to Daiki to see if he had any reaction, but he just continues to eat.

They finish their meals and i put the dishes in the sink with the intent to clean them later.

"Ok time to go boys." Daiki walks like a robot whole Naoki has a bounce in his step. I press the down button and the elevator gets us to our destination quickly.

We exit and make our way to the parking lot. I spot the car Ichiro is letting me use and unlock it. I watch the boys climb into the back seat, then i get in. I look behind me to make sure the kids are buckled.

I pull out the parking lot and start towards the school. The roads were pretty clear for a school morning.

I drop the boys off at the entrance and give them a wave.

"Bye mamma!" Naoki hops out the car and walks backwards while waving at me. My smile falters when he says "mamma". I don't want to tell him that he shouldn't call me that but i dont want to upset him.

I get a call on the phone and look down to see that its Ichiro, i pick up the call.

"Did the kids get to school on time?"

"Yeap, they've eaten and made it to school, and were bit early too!" I happily tell him, im pretty proud of my first morning with the kids.

"Well, thats good. Run into any issues?" I think this is the right time to bring up the fact that Naoki calls me 'mom'.
