A BROKEN MIND

CHAPTER 6

Dominga gets to his room, Jeremiah "so why did she call you this time?", Dominga "don't worry", Jeremiah "why can't I know?", Dominga "it's private so forget about it", king then enters the room and drags Dominga to the side of the room telling him "I think my sister likes you", Dominga "what makes you think she does", King "everytime I talk to her, she's always asking about you, so please can you try and ignore her?", Dominga "what if I want her to like me?", King then holds Dominga by his shirt and pulls him forward telling him "am not begging you, I am telling you", Dominga "what's the difference?", King "you'll find out if you don't do as I say", Dominga then holds King's had telling him "if you don't leave me, you'll leave here with more than a broken nose", King then stops holding his shirt telling him "I'm warning you, leave her alone" as he leaves the room.
Later during dinner, Jeremiah goes over to where Isabella was sitting and seats next to her, Isabella then asks him "what's going on, aren't you meant to be seating with Dominga?", Jeremiah "I need to ask you something", Isabella "what?, Jeremiah " do you like anyone? ", Isabella "question is, does anyone like me", Jeremiah "just answer", Isabella "yes but am not telling you who", Jeremiah then says "okay" and stands to go and stay with Dominga.

While with Dominga,he sees Jeremiah coming and asks him as he is sitting down "what did she say?", Jeremiah "I think King was right", Dominga "have you seen Ashley anywhere", Jeremiah "why do you care, you said she gave you attitude so leave her alone and focus on someone who actually likes you", Dominga "do you mean Isabella?, I like Ashley more and I really don't want to fight King", Jeremiah "are you afraid of him?", Dominga "I don't just want any trouble, anyways which department are you in?", Jeremiah "science tech and society", Dominga "you want to be an architect?", Jeremiah "yeah", Dominga "why?", Jeremiah "cause i will fulfil my dad's dream of wanting to build houses for homeless people", Dominga "that's...that's nice".

Ashley then comes out of the kitchen with the uniform of the workers and goes over to serve the table which Dominga and Jeremiah are seating, as she was serving them, her eyes and Dominga's eye meet and she thinks to her self "shit, I wished they had given me another table". Jeremiah then tells Dominga "look at your girl, she's serving other boys", Dominga "I swear to God, I'll slap you", Jeremiah then starts laughing as they serve them their food.
