Chapter 2

     Ashley POV
Life can be hard sometimes but we can't let it define who we are and who we are going to be while life can be sweet as well so we should not let it define us as well; that's what my mother taught us now she's gone.
She gave us an insight about life, my mom can be strict sometimes but she is a loving mother and she will say "I'm a bit strict because you are all girls, in our society being a girl is not easy because any little thing you do, you are being criticized; it doesn't matter if you are at fault or not".
I understood what she meant after she died, everybody is always judging us because we are all girls and we are orphan. We never asked for this, it just happened and like my mom said we should not let it define who we are going to be.
I'm going to be strong for my sisters and support them in any way that I can most especially my elder sister;Hailey.
My sister is a person I adore a lot, she's just 17 and she's already taking care of us when I told her to let me take a part time job so I can help with the bills she said no that I'm still young so I should enjoy my teenage days that I can't relive it.
She dropped out of school so she can be working well to pay out school fees and tend to other things, we are lucky we have a house. Hailey is doing some online classes after I persuaded her because my sister is very smart, she is the smartest amongst us and I also know she really wants to study so I have taken it upon myself to do whatever I can do to help her.
I heard in my school they want to give out scholarships but if I tell hailey about it she won't consider it because people don't like tangling with us( they always call us bad luck because we lost our parents like it's our fault) so I took all her credentials, I downloaded all her test results(from her online class) and her exam result I took it to mu school to show the principal.
To cut the long story short, I got her the scholarship she is going to be so happy. I'm going home I have to show her this.
I took the bus when I got home, I opened the door, entered and scream hailey's name.

       HAILEY POV
Ashley explained everything to me and I was so happy I couldn't contain myself, I hugged her tightly to myself and thanked her repeatedly and she said' stop saying thanks to me, you are already doing a lot for us this is the little I can do
Ashley we have a problem though, I said to her and she said, what problem?
What about work? High school is not like college, we have to stay in school till the bell rings for us to go home.
I already found a solution to that problem hailey, I spoke to our principal about it so you can only come to school when you have you classes and to attend some important events in school.
Wow you thought about that, I'm so happy Ash, I'm very grateful and thank you very much for doing this for me. I really really appreciate it

So I have to get ready to start going to school, I'm so happy that I'm going to study hard and fulfill my dreams then make money to buy a bigger house and take good care of my sisters.
Mom I know you are watching over me from up there, I'm doing okay mom, I'm working hard to send my siblings to school and to provide for them. Thank you for all your teachings, it's one of the thing that gets me going.
A whole new life is waiting for me, I'm going to face different difficulties in life so I just have to stay focused, strong and determined.
High school can either make you or break you depends on how you are and how determined, strong and willful you are. I will do everything in my power to make sure high school make me and not break me, what about you?5

Whoever is reading this should listen carefully, yes you. Please listen carefully.
In this world, there are humans with different kind of character, behavior, beliefs and personality.
We are in society that anything and everything you do is scrutinized and you always get judged for the littlest mistake you make.
We are in a world where everyone is selfish, where everyone is hungry for power and money, where people can do anything for money even if it's to kill one of their family member.
We are in a world we're human kills human without any remorse.
The world is spinning, the world is moving nobody will blink a eye if you die and the world won't stop if you die so life is precious.
I know a lot of people are going through a lot but I want you to stay strong, challenge that problem and overcome it.
Those that have problem of bullying, let me get this fact across to you, you are not the weak one for being bullied, the person that is bullying you is the weak one so stand up for yourself, be smarter. You don't have to resort to violence to stand up for yourself you just have to be smarter, outsmart your bullies they are always dumb and irrational.
Those that bully people because you have problems at home or you feel this person life is perfect and yours is in shambles so you feel the need to be dominate, that's a pathetic excuse.
Nobody's life is perfect, the way we hide our problem is different so don't always belief what you see. Even the rich ones are not perfect.
I will be writing something like this at the end of each chapters, I want to pass this message across the world so it can help a lot of people so pls help spread the word, get people to read and save lives( always help people in your own way)
We all have dreams in life so to achieve that dream we have to be strong, determined and consistent.
