Assigned seats- Jack Hugues

I was dreading going to school today. It was the first day of 12th grade finally. First day of the last school year till collage. Not fully excited because I don't know what I want to do for my career yet but I'll figure it out.

"Sweetie we're going to be late!" My dad yells from downstairs. My dads the science teacher for 12 grade, therefore he's my science teacher. Knowing him this years going to be hell. "Coming!" I yell back.

I walk in the school parting ways with my dad and exploring the school. I mostly know all the teachers and know where my locker is. Mainly cause my dad works here and I spent all summer coming here in his room helping him set up.

Fourth period ended and now it's time to go to my dads class. Great.

"Welcome class. I've done this for five periods straight so I'm pretty bored by now so let's make it as fun as possible shall we?" The class just mumbles a ton of 'yeah's "okay so I'm gonna hand out these index cards here and your going to write your partner of choosing. This person will be sitting next to you for the whole year. I suppose most of you will pick your bestie. But I'd go with someone I don't know to get to know them. Boys make sure you are careful if you pick my daught-" "dad please." I said putting my head down slamming it. "Aww come on liana you messed up the joke." He said handing out the cards.

"Yo Trevor." "What jack?" I hear the USA team boys whisper behind me. "How do you spell her name?" "I don't know." I guess Jack is trying to find out someone's name. But not just one someone. It's me someone. "Who is it jack?" "Liana." "Oh yea." He said as I heard him spell my name to jack.

For fun I wrote his name on my card hoping my dad would put us together.

-time skip (fifth period the day after)-

"Hey li." "Yea dad?" My dad called to me before I sat in my seat. "You sit behind where you used to sit. With Jack Hugues." "Oh alright." I said I bit my lip hiding my excitement. I was so excited I had a fat crush on Jack. Ever since the third grade. Thankfully dad didn't know about it so he let me sit there.

"Howdy partner." Jack said plopping in the seat next to me. "What's up!" I said turning my attention to him. "Nothing much. I didn't know you were gonna pick me as ur partner." Jack said looking at me I looked away because it was pretty awk that I was just gonna be staring at him while he talked. I would probably blush so hard. Good thing I turned away. "Yea I did because I heard you wanted to be my partner." "From?" "From you. Your whispering skills are a lack." I said laughing at him finally looking at him also. "Hmm..."

"And that's how I met your dad!" I explained to mine and Jacks kid. "Again Again!" Liam screamed "no that's enough for one night how about tomorrow night I can share something else." "Yay!!!" Liam said hugging me. "Night mom night dad." "Night buddy." Jack and I said in unison.
