PALACE DUTIES
The most fundamental part of LOP may just be the palace duties... They're the first thing you're given in the game besides ingots, and give you useful things; Partner EXP, Silver, and Fame. This being said, you want to maximize the amount of stuff you can get from palace duties.
Since it is hard to get more palace duties, it's better to focus on getting more stuff per one palace duty. And one of the best palace duties to have is the Partner EXP. To increase your Partner EXP income, you need to raise your wisdom attribute!
Palace Duties and Your ATTRs
Palace Duty incomes directly correlate with three Attributes: (Wisdom, Politics, Charisma). Therefore, raising your ATTR (attribute) will increase your Palace Duty income.
Your Wisdom attribute directly correlates with your Partner EXP income; so if your Wisdom attribute is 1000, your Partner EXP income is also 1000. This income can be improved with Confidant Xu Zhenqing (with vip 2), and through the Ministry of Works in the Guid Hall. But we'll talk about that later, for now, raising your ATTR is much more important.
Your Politics attribute directly correlates with your Silver income; so if your Politics attribute is 1000, your Silver income is also 1000. This income can be improved with Confidant Wen Zhengming (with vip 4), and through the Ministry of Works in the Guid Hall.
Your Charisma attribute directly correlates with your Fame income; so if your Charisma attribute is 1000, your Fame income is also 1000. HOWEVER, earning Fame will also consume Silver (see "Charisma Overload!??" for more details). The consumption of Silver will depend on your Charisma ATTR; so if your Charisma attribute is 1000, the consumed Silver will also be 1000. This income can be improved with Confidant Zhu Zhishan (with vip 6), and through the Ministry of Works in the Guid Hall.
Your Authority attribute has no correlation with your Palace Duty incomes, however it is a VERY IMPORTANT attribute. Authority gives your Partners Momentum, which is used to fight Story enemies and Common Enemy in Guild. Higher Authority also decreases Fame consumption in Story.
Getting More ATTR
In LOP, the most important traits to increase are Wisdom and Authority. To increase these, buy the corresponding Wisdom and Authority Books and Growth Points gift packs.
You can buy these things from the Banquet Shop, Guild Shop, Hard Labour Camp, and Field Shop.
The Banquet Shop
There are many wonderful things to be bought at the Banquet Shop. Personally, what I like to focus on buying from the Banquet Shop are, in order of priority: Growth Points gift packs, Potential Fruit Shards, Character EXP Bags,Marriage Stones, Books, Energy and Stamina Pills. We will discuss the importance of Character EXP Bags later on (see "Promotion").
To get Banquet Points to spend in the Shop: Be sure to attend banquets with the two daily free times! If there are no banquets to attend, use ingots to open one yourself if you can. This will give you lots of banquet points to spend on these things.
The Guild Shop
The Guild Shop can be found in the Guild Main Hall interface. Personally, what I like to focus on buying from the Guild Shop are, in order of priority: Growth Points gift packs, Character EXP Bags, Servant Robes.
