Timed rankings are probably the central thing which the whole game orbits around. I'm talking Dominant, Favoured, etc etc. So ranking well in these is probably a good idea, but how does one rank well? After gaining different experiences in the game, I have successfully won some Timed Rankings, and devised a few key tips:

General Tips:

Tip 1: HOARD. ;A;

This is probably nothing new, but definitely hoard whatever resources you need for the timed ranking you want to rank well/win in. Record old top scores in these rankings so you can guage how much you should save for the rank you want to achieve (ex. if 1st place in last Timeless Beauty was 500b, you may wanna save at least 600b to win). I find the easiest timed ranking to win is Timeless Beauty.

Tip 2: Only spend what you need

Don't overspend your resources to get the rank you want! For instance, if you're currently 1st place in Timeless Beauty with 600b fame used and 2nd place is further behind, don't spend more fame just for the sake of spending. If you're already first, there's no need to spend more resources unless your rank changes. I recommend saving your resources so you can rank well again next cycle.

Queen of Banquet Tips:

Like Iron Teeth, there is some "strategy" that goes into maximizing your point income for Queen of Banquet.

Max out your confidant(s).

Personally if I were to go for Queen of Banquet title, I would have at least two confidants maxed out, meaning two confidants with 400 intimacy and 25k talent ATTR each. This way, I can get max banquet points from attending the two free banquets a day, and get max points from hosting banquets, which I usually never hold more than twice a day.

Plan ahead.

If you're planning to go for Queen of Banquet, you should probably start preparing well in advance, because this event is particularly costly. Firstly, I would look at previous scores for Queen of Banquet and calculate how many banquets (small and/or large) I would need to beat that score. Once I have derived a number, I will calculate how many banquet invitations and ingots I will need to hold that many banquets. (Note I don't calculate banquet attendance points because sometimes I will forget to attend both banquets, and plus it's nice to have a small buffer window of extra points). As for ingots, I would try to save more than I needed because if a large ingot-draining event comes during Queen of Banquet, it would be regrettable to miss something you wanted.

As an extra step of planning ahead, if I plan to rank well in a Queen of Banquet, I always open a large banquet the day before the timed ranking starts. This is because there are not nearly as many banquets outside of the timed ranking as during the timed ranking, and therefore it's much more likely you'll get full attendance. Just for this banquet, do not close it until Queen of Banquet starts. If you close it after Queen of Banquet started, even though you opened that banquet before the timed ranking, the points will still count, and you'll have a head start on everyone else!
