The Lost Land

Discovery

(Tuffnuts POV)
"Where is that muttonhead of a sister?!", I muttered under my breath. After hearing about our crash and about my sisters mysterious dissapearance the gang were all worried and suggested we go look for her, so we came back to the where me and Ruffnut crashed. We have been looking for her for almost an hour and found NOTHING! Then I remembered the mysterious hole in the mountain that appeared right after I woke up from the crash.I walked over to hiccup and said "hey Hiccup, I found this hole in the mountain when I woke up after crashing, maybe Ruffnut went in there to see what's inside of it.", I suggested. "Great thinking Tuffnut, let's go look inside the hole that you found in the mountain to see if we can find Ruff", Hiccup said. After walking about 5 min we finally reached the hole that I found, but something was different about it. It seemed to have gotten wider and bigger than when I first saw it, so now it looks more like a cave entrance. "Oh great!, how are we supposed to find Ruffnut in that?!", Snotlout complained. For some reason something about this mysterious cave that led to gods-know-where sent shivers down my spine, but I just shrugged it off and started to walk with the others inside the cave.

(Ruffnuts POV)
I couldn't believe what I was staring at, it had to be the most beautiful place anyone has ever seen. There was a mountain range covered from bottom to top with trees, there was a wide open field with fresh grass, and to top it all off, this place was crawling with the most beautiful birds, and insects I have ever seen. I'm not one to comment on how beautiful something is (unless it's a weapon of course, or Tuffnuts physical pain that I cause him), but this place just looked so beautiful, I couldn't stop the look of awe that was clearly shown on my face. The weird thing was though, it looked for some reason that someone was here then just left the place to be abandoned, and it made me feel kinda bad for it. "Well, time to investigate to see what lies ahead", I said to no one in particular as I started to walk down the hill. About an hour of walking later I finally reached the beautiful forest I was staring at earlier when I arrived. I looked at the entrance of the forest and felt as if it was calling to me, telling me to come inside of there as if it was my destiny or something, but I just shrugged it off and headed into the dense entrance of the forest.

(Hiccups POV)
After about 2 hours of going in circles through the endless tunnels throughout the cave, we finally found one that had an end. We had to climb down a few hills to get onto the grassy plains that surrounded this beautiful area. But before we could touch foot in the grass, we had to walk through some dirt paths.
While we were walking I spotted something shining in a dried mud puddle just a few feet away from where we were currently standing. I walked over to it and when I realized what it was, made my blood run cold, "you guys may wanna see this", I said shaking a little. When they all came over to see what I was holding, they all gasped. In my hand was Ruffnuts helmet, it had a few dents in it, but the worst of it all was there was little specks of blood on the helmet. "Guys, we need to find Ruffnut and fast", I said as we all raced across the grassy plains and into the forest, little did we know what dangers we were facing if we entered.
