24. Dreams

Custer was acting suspicious, Faye was dropping shit and the air was different. It felt like some shit was about to go down. Ash being so observant, he noticed it before Fez did. Ash knew that he wasn't gonna make it outta this so he did what he had to do, defend his family to the end. He picked up a knife and went out to the living room. He sat there and observed Custer and all the while, kept getting flashbacks to when he had to do the same thing to Mouse. He was snapped out of it when Faye dropped a glass and that's when he knew it was now or never. He picked up the knife and stabbed Custer in the neck. He was lucky(if you could call it that) that the blood didn't get on his suit or his shoes even though Custer was flopping around like a dead fish trying to stop the bleeding.
Fez was panicking until he got a sudden moment of clairity. He punched Ash in the face and made his nose bleed. Ash knew why he did it and didn't like the plan. Fez was gonna take the fall for Ash and wanted Ash to comply with the police. Ash wasn't gonna do this however and was thinking of another plan until there was a knock at the door. It sounded like a S.W.A.T team and it caused Fez and Ash to panic and Faye to drop down to the floor.
"OPEN THE DOOR NOW. AND GET ON THE GROUND" the team shouted.
Ash looked at Fez before pushing him aside and running to his room to grab guns and amo. Fez tried to stop him but Ash locked himself in the bathroom and got situated in the tub. Fez was screaming for Ash to come out and comply but Ash wasn't having it. Fez was desperately trying to get the team to understand that there was a kid in there but it was no use. Ash had made up his mind and in a way, was ready to go. The S.W.A.T guys gave Ash one more chance but Ash wasn't budging, instead he was loading up his guns and was getting ready to meet his demise. The guys started shooting and Fez got caught in the crossfire; despite this, he still kept pleading with Ash to get out of the bathroom. Ash was shooting and shooting but he then came up with his last plan. He layed in the floor and pretended to be dead which made a S.W.A.T member come over to him and speak into his radio:
"He's down"
Ash in fact wasn't down and when he heard that, he launched his weapon at the member which ex caused him to die with a hole in his shoulder and blood pouring out rapidly. Ash stood up and with him, a red dot rose until it hit his forehead with a member saying,
"We got him"

You woke up in a cold sweat. Tears started falling from your eyes uncontrollably. You started shaking but needed to make sure that you were in reality so you reached for your phone. The time read 3:15 am so you knew it was late. It was a school night but you didn't care, you needed to make sure your soulmate wasn't dead. You called Ash and surprisingly he answered almost immediately(bold is Ash, you're regular):
"Hello?"
"Baby are you okay?"
"I think the real question here is are you okay? Do you know what time it is, Y/n"
"Ash please don't do this, I need to know if you're okay."
"I'm fine, why?"
"I had a bad dream"
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
Your voice sounded shaky and like you had been crying for a while:
"Ma?"
"Yea?"
"Are you okay? And do you wanna talk about it?"
"No. I just wanted to hear your voice."
"Okay. Lmk if you need me"
"I always need you"
"Yk what I mean."
"Okay I love you so much"
"I love you too."
You hung up the phone and let out a good cry. You were too scared to go back to sleep. It was now 5:30 so you decided to to get ready for school a bit early.
When you finally got to school, you made a beeline for Ash. You engulfed him in a hug and was taken a back:

"Y/n what happened tf last night in your dream?"
"You died." You mumbled
"Well I'm not going anywhere"
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promise"
"Can I hang out with you after school?"
"You always hang out with me after school."
"Can we skip?"
"You? Skipping? This nightmare really fucked you up."
"Yea it did, haha"
"C'mon Ma"
Ash took your hand and took you back to the store where you picked up some chips and an Arizona. Ash went into the freezer and started counting money while you sat on his lap.

"Dw Ma. I'll be with you forever"
"I hope so"
