Mia was sitting alone in her room. She couldn't sleep. All she could hear was banging on her window.
"What is that?" Thought mia. Mia was only twelve. She was homeschooled and her parents were on a business trip and they would be there for a while. After a few minutes the banging stopped.
"Finally!" Thought Mia. Mia went to sleep. She was woken up by the sound of tapping. Like the sound of pebbles being tapped on her window. She had a four story house. So she went up to the top floor (not including the attic)
Mia thought to herself "maybe the noise will stop?" But oh was she wrong. Mia went back to sleep again hoping to not be awoken. But she was, by the sound of whispering but loud whispering. It was saying things like "We gotta hurry before the child notices.." and "I think the child heard us!" Mia just excused it as being her hallucinations that she normally had. Soon she started to hear loud banging on her door and on her window.. "What's that noise..!?" Thought mia. Mia slowly heard her door opening.. Mia hides under her covers. From underneath her covers she saw a bright light shining down on her. Then it turned off. Mia heard her door open and her window open. She heard people leaving. "Thank god!" Thought Mia as she got up from under her covers. Mia went on her iPad and started playing games. She heard someone from outside of her window say "open the window it's not that hard." Mia finally gave up and just opened her window. Mia went back to sleep. She woke up to people saying "finally this child opened the window. She heard people climb in. She got out from under her covers and looked. Two people who just looked like shadows were there holding her heart...turns out Mia was never alive she died six years ago..she was having flashbacks from when they invaded her home the first time.
