"Aye, make sure to take a picture of that galaxy projector once you put it up. Happy birthday, again, bitch!"

"Thanks, Miu, and I definitely will! Get home safe you guys!" Kaito shouted back, watching the inventor and others walk to their cars. It if wasn't for the streets lights painting the night-sky darken grounds with its shade of glowing yellow, it would've been hard to see them walk away as there was a bit of distance from his house to the sidewalk. Thankfully, everyone made it to their vehicles and started to rev them up, one by one driving away for the evening.

Once everyone left, Kaito walked back into his home and shut the front door behind him, sighing in a tired, but satisfied way. He looked over at the scattered piles of wrapping paper, tape, and new clothes of all sorts as he walked further into the living room. There wasn't a lot of decorations up, aside from some purple balloons that were now sinking to the ground, and star-sparkled streamers that hung from the ceiling. Kaito didn't mind though, surprisingly he was never that big into parties that had rooms completely decked out, since at times it felt overwhelming.

(And less decorations meant less clean up, which considering how long these parties would go for, is a win.)

The sound of a fridge door closing was heard from the other room, and not too long after did Gonta walk out of it, patting his hands on his shirt.

"Okay... that should be all the leftover drinks and snack that needed to be put up, yes?"

"Mhm, looks like it." Kaito nodded as he walked closer to Gonta, "And there's no need to worry about the cake, since it's all been eaten up already."

"Yeah, that to... hehe, Gonta can't believe it got ate up so quickly, he didn't think it was that delicious."

"Are you kiddin' man? It was amazing! I swear, every time you bake something, you just get better and better at it."

Kaito was right in front of Gonta at this point, as he wrapped his arms around the larger man into a hug. Gonta does the same, giving him a light squeeze in return and giving a little kiss on top of Kaito's head.

"Thank you for this, Gonta... This was probably one of the best birthdays I've had yet."

"Awh, really? Gonta really happy to hear that. He sorry he couldn't do more, though... with work taking up his schedule so much these past few weeks, Gonta couldn't really plan for much else." Gonta said, pulling away from their hug. Kaito still held onto one of his hands though, brushing his thumb over Gonta's palm.

"It's alright, really, 's not like I wanted much anyways. I'm just glad I got to spend extra time with you... and my friends, of course." Kaito replies, chuckling on that last part. Gonta did to, and a soft smile formed on his face.

"Well good, hopefully Gonta can spend more time with you now, not be so busy anymore... Wait."
