"What is going on?" Echoed the angry voice of the patriarch of the family.
"Abuelo!" Lloyd exclaimed as he and Zane got up from the pile of now disappearing snow. The blond smiled widely as he began to explain to the shocked grandfather. "We're saving the miracle! The magic—"
"What are you talking about?" The First Spinjitzu Master inquired. "Look at our home! Look at your brother!" He exclaimed, gesturing to their snow-covered casita and the now rather distressed Zane.
"Look, please…" Lloyd interrupted. "Zane wasn't happy and—"
"Of course he's not happy. You ruined his proposal."
"No, he needed me to ruin his proposal!" Lloyd corrected. "And then we did all this," He continued, excitedly gesturing to the snowy courtyard. "And the candle burned brighter and the cracks…"
"Lloyd,"
"And that's why I'm in the prophecy! That's why I'm the Green Ninja!" Lloyd exclaimed. "I'm saving the miracle with lo—"
"You have to stop, Lloyd!" The grandfather shouted furiously, quieting down the teen. "The cracks started with you. Garmadon left because of you. Cole is losing his powers and Zane is out of control because of you!"
Lloyd looked into his grandfather's eyes with his own saddened ones. He had never been directly accused of hurting the miracle— or for being the reason for his own father leaving the family. The blond held his hands together, flinching at the accusations that kept coming.
"I don't know why you didn't receive an elemental power, but that is not an excuse for you to hurt this family!" The Spinjitzu Master yelled.
The ground began to quake as more cracks spread across the courtyard tiles, this time going unnoticed by the family that began to gather around in the open area.
Lloyd wore a wounded expression on his face. His sad eyes shifted behind his big, round glasses as he exhaled.
"I will never be good enough for you," The blond spoke in a shaking voice as he raised his gaze up to the older man. "No matter how hard I try."
Lloyd let his gaze travel to the side, where sheepishly stood two of his eldest brothers as well as his mother and uncle.
"No matter how hard any of us tries," Lloyd stated, gesturing to his brothers. "Cole will never be strong enough. Zane will never be perfect enough."
Thunder started rambling above them as dark clouds hovered over the casita, darkening the courtyard.
"Papá left because you only saw the worst in him," Lloyd raised his voice.
"Garmadon didn't care about this family!" The First Spinjitzu Master yelled.
"He loves this family! I love this family! We all love this family!" Lloyd shouted back. "You're the one that doesn't care. You're the one breaking our home."
"Don't you dare—!"
"The miracle is dying because of you!" Lloyd stated, stepping closer to the man.
The First Spinjitzu Master's eyes widened in shock. Lloyd's as well. Silence fell upon the two as they stared at each other.
A wide crack split the ground between Lloyd and the grandfather, making them both flinch. The crack spread across and up the casita, making its way all the way up to the windowsill the candle sat on.
