If anyone would ask Hongyi the reason for his flabbergasted expression throughout the stay in the inn for today then he wouldn't be able to explain. He is still trying to comprehend what the held had just happened with him.
After having the mild chit chat Shi Ying and Hongyi had, Shi Ying went away to look if he would be able to find any suitable place for Hongyi to stay and accomodate till he gets better. Hongyi had seen air kuoshu alot of time back in his realm back now when he was seeing it here, this was something next level. The grace with which Shi Zun kicked in the air to fly of from one tree to another was heavenly. The jumps were very wide yet the master did it placidity left him odd. What was more intriguing was the flying holy bird above the scattered canopy which was meant to be there for his protection. If this was no less astonishing to him then the next thing truly blew his mind.
Shi Zun has returned in a short while and had informed him about the state nearby DuoSen. The state was under the rule of a small group of independent warriors and was considered a remote one too as the residents there prefered seclusiveness and detachment from the wordly affairs. He said that they were required to travel there but Hongyi was incapable and the next thing that happened, Hongyi wouldn't forget until his last breathe.
Shi Ying had supported Hongyi to stand and brought him infront. He wound his arms around Hongyi's waist and with one kick on the ground, Shi Ying performed air kuoshu with HongYi clinging onto him .
Hongyi being scared shut his eyes closed tightly when he felt himself landing on something fluff while wind blew fast playing with his free tresses of hair. He opened his eyes to see him facing Shi Ying while the other had eyes fixed front. Hongyi looked around to see them flying on a huge creature. On careful inspection Hongyi discovered it to be the heavenly bird ChongMing. How could this be! He has seen that bird before and it was never too big enough to carry two people together and now he is on his back, tightly hugged by a man or the Grand Priest as the other know him of. After stopping at a certain distance from the settlement, Shi Ying had carefully helped him down, while the heavenly or in Hongyi's term 'magical' bird shrunk back to his original size flapping its wings and flying away.Another shock awaited Hongyi as Shi Ying hooked his one hand around Hongyi's shoulder and other around his knees, effortlessly carrying him and walking forward with a blank expression.
"The inn is at a distance and walking would induce unnecessary pressure and make things worse." This was what Shi Ying spoke out while walking towards the inn.
Since they have reached the inn with one single bed in a room, Hongyi being embarassed hasn't looked at Shi Ying even once. The elder had bought him some mild vegetable soup to drink and has ventured out after applying some neem paste on his feet. As the time passed by Hongyi grew more and more bored. Due to his legs, he cannot move out to discover the new place, nor anything is there to entertain him. He wasn't sleepy too and that just made him groan. How in the world was he to survive by being on his own. Not that Hongyi mind but previously, books were his constant companion. Shen Fei, his loyal server, whom he considered as very close friend has always accompanied him, told him various gossips around the clan yet here he was truly lonely.
