𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐧' 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐲 3𝐋𝐖 — blasted through the tv speakers as Keturah went around the whole house cleaning up. She did this route every Friday but this Friday it was more mess than usual only because of the fact that she had been so busy with working overtime and taking care of her two sisters who she had taken in when she turned 19.
2 months after she had turned 19 she received a call that her mother had just been shot and killed. They didn't tell her anything else they just told her that she had been shot and killed. Dropping everything she drove to the hospital to see her twin sisters crying talking to the social workers. They told her since she was over 19 she could take them in but if she didn't want to they would be going into the system
Keturah didn't want her sister's in the system. After her moms funeral she began to start going to court to get custody of them after fighting for almost 3 months she finally won custody over them. Mind you she was only 19 she didn't even have her own apartment she lived with her boyfriend of going on 5 years at the time.
They lived in a 3 bedroom apartment with her boyfriend for the remaining 2 years after what had happened to her mom. Keturah had found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her and had gotten another girl pregnant. It wasn't like she didn't know about the cheating.
When people asked why she didn't leave when he first started she would say because he treated her right and she didn't have anyone else to fall on yeah she had her bestfriends but she didn't wanna put all her problems into their lives. But this time he had gotten a whole girl pregnant he had crossed the line and she was done after that one.
Keturah didn't let him know she knew she waited until he left for work, Gathered all of her and the twins things into her car. Before she left she made sure he was going to feel her pain she broke everything he loved in that apartment especially his PlayStation that he loved so much.
After she trashed his place she wrote him a lovely note putting it on the front of the apartment door so when he got home he would see it. Keturah hated how much she had depended on him so she vowed to never depend on a man like she did with him because it took her a long and hard time to get back on her own feet even with the help of her best friends.
"Fuck y'all can't be doing that shit" she squealed holding her chest seeing her two best friends ceryari and minori she definitely sometimes hated that she gave both of them a key. A key that was ONLY supposed to be used for emergencies. But it was them they used it for everything besides that "and stop using that extra key to just come in here unannounced"
