●╎3╎A White Dwarf ●

● Sol ●

As we went closer to our destination, I can see two bright stars orbiting each other. "Another binary stars" I turn my head and looked at Earth. "Binary Stars?"

"Stars that orbit each other" Earth explained. We went closer to the Binary stars. The other was white while the other is blue. We can tell the difference now.

I'm jealous of them, they look so pretty. I want to be so bright like them, but I'm already bright to Earth so why would I be jealous. "Let's go closer to them" Uranus said as he drag his twin Neptune by her foot and went closer to the blue star.

"Huh? Who's dragging me" Neptune asked. Uranus keeps on dragging her. I can see the other star crying while orbiting a white star. However, they're tears is the same color as them so I can barely see it. I poked Earth. "DoN't touch me" Earth backed away from me.

"I was about to ask why is that star crying"

"That star is orbiting a dead star also known as a white dwarf, that's also the core of a star" Earth explained. Now I know why he's crying.

I went closer to the blue star to comfort them. "Hey.."

"Who are you.." they sound like they're pain. "I'm Sol, you can call me as the Sun"

"Sirius.. my name is Sirius A"

"So that star is Sirius B?" I asked and they nodded in response. "That star is my sister, when I turned into a red giant, and now she's a white dwarf still orbiting me.."

"White dwarves are dead right?"

"Not really.. she's still here" he's right, her sister is still here. Neptune is talking to the white dwarf star. I wonder how can she talk to dead star.

● Sirius B ●

I'm happy that I'm talking to a planet. "So Sirius, why is your brother crying?"

"It's because I'm about to die"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm now a white dwarf, and that means my life is about to end"

"Oh, sorry to hear that"

"No it's alright, me and Sirius A still get to spend time with each other" I said. Neptune smiled, I patted her head. "Damn that's hot" I removed my hand immediately. I apologized to her for almost killing her.

I saw a ring around Neptune, how come I didn't noticed it. "Are you looking at my rings?" I nodded. "They aren't very visible tho, I'm glad you noticed"

"Can I ask who's that yellow star?"

"Oh her? That's Sol, you can call her the sun, she's been with us for billions of years, Earth knows how long"

"Is she gonna turn into a red giant too?"

"Red giant?"

"Stars turn into a red giant and turn into a white dwarf after"

"Earth told me that white dwarves are dead stars" I can feel my temperature drop when I talk to Neptune, it's still hot but I feel cold at the same time. I feel sorry that I can't stay billions of years unlike Sol, I'm jealous of her. Right now, I can only last for millions of years.

At least I can spend more time with my brother. "Hello Sirius B, I wish I named you instead" a planet said. Clouds are blocking them which make it difficult for me to see their appearance. "I'm Venus, the most fabulous planet"

"Can you remove the clouds? I can barely see you" She tried to remove the yellow clouds surrounding her making me see her appearance. She's short, she has a long orange hair. Her dress fits her. "You look pretty" I complimented her. She gasp and started spin around in joy as clouds started to cover her.

"I wish my star is like you"

"Well, you won't want me as your star, I turned into a red giant before and now I'm a white dwarf"

"Your right" Venus sat beside me and hugged me. Neptune just stayed in in distance. "Hey Neptune, join us" Venus offered her but she refused. "I'm an ice giant Venus, I'm not like you and Mercury who is close to the sun and is used to heat"

Ice giant? But she doesn't even have a surface. "Whatever"

I wonder what are those two talking about.
