Old Friends Reunite

Shawn's pov:

"What did we just do?" I asked Jacob after Jenah stormed out of the room.

"I have no idea. I hope she doesn't stay mad at us for to long." He says back.

I got up to go to the bathroom but when I walked towards it I ended up running into someone.

"Owe!" Zoe said as she hit the floor.

"Oh I'm sorry." I say as I reach my hand out to help her.

I helped her up and she said thanks.

Then she tried flirting with me. I was ignoring most of her questions but then thought why can't I harmlessly flirt back I mean Nicole is flirting with Jake and it's not like I like Zoe or anything.

But I can't do that to Nicole I can't hurt her and have her be mad at me too.

Nicole walked into the living room seeing me talking to Zoe.

"Really?" She shouted and walked out of the living room.

Shit now she is mad and I didn't even do anything.

"Nicole wait." I yell chasing after her.

She was walking very fast down the beach and I finally caught up to her.

"Nicole I said wait." I wisper-yelled at her so I wouldn't get anyone's attention.

"Why do you want me to wait?" She yelled causing a few people to look.

"I want to explain." I said calmly.

"Explain what? How you were just flirting with the girl I hate the most?" She yells again.

"Nicole I wasn't flirting with her." I say.

"Oh right... That's why she was basically hugging you and laughing like you are the funniest man on earth." By this time she is fuming and almost everyone is looking.

"Nicole can you please lower your voice." I slightly whisper.

"Oh... I'm sorry do you not like the attention? Because if you are a cheating man whore you should get used to it." she screams and runs off.

"Why am I making this worse?" I mumble to myself.

Jenah's pov:

Why would Jacob do something like that. Does he not know personally space.

And now Logan is coming. Ugh why? Why can't he just go back to ignoring me that would be great.

I thought I could trust Jacob but I guess I can't trust anyone anymore. The only person I trust is Nicole.

I also trusted my dog but Chile is gone now so I don't have that companion anymore.

I can't wait until this whole crazy trip is over.

"Jenah?" Someone says behind me.

"Are you crying?" They ask as I turn around.

I bring my hand to my face and feel the tears coming down my face. I didn't even realize I had started crying.

"James?" I ask one of the guys from my school.

We used to be friends in elementary school but we haven't talked to each other since we got into Junior High.

"Are you ok?" He asks.

"Umm... Yeah... Well... No but what are you doing here?" I say.

"My family decided to come for the holidays because they heard about all of the luaus that happen." He says.

"Oh that's cool." I say.

"Do you want to talk about why you were crying?" He asks.

"It's kind of a long story." I say.

"That's ok we've got plenty of time." He says.

I think about weather I should tell him or not but I decide what more could I lose.

I take a deep breath and start telling him the whole story.

Daylan's pov:

After we got back to the beach house Zoe dragged me into our room. I like how she actually will do stuff with me but she is to slutty sometimes. I just wanted to leave.

I heard some commotion outside our room. It sounded like Jenah yelling at someone but who?

I left to go see what happened but she had already stormed out so I missed everything.

I went to go and follow her but she was going to fast I eventually lost her around a huge rock.

I kept searching for her but I saw some guy already talking to her.

He looked like someone I've seen before. Maybe from school. Yeah that seemed right.

She seemed better now but I wanted to hear what they were talking about. So I got closer to them.

"So basically both of my ex's cheated on me." I heard her say.

Wait ex's? It wasn't only me. Well now I feel like a dick.

"Why don't we hang out at the luau tonight?" He asks Jenah.

"Yeah sure sounds good." She says back.

"Well we should get ready for it." James says.

"Okay bye see you later." Jenah says with a chuckle and they hug.

She turns and walks back toward the house but then sees me.

"Daylan?" She asks in shock.

"Hey." I say.

"What are you doing here?" She asks.

"I came to see if you were ok." I tell her.

"Really?" She asks.

"Yeah and I just want to say sorry for..." I start but she cuts me off.

"Don't even start. I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone." She snaps.

"But you were just talking to that guy." I say.

"Yeah because he is an old friend." She says trying to get passed me but I block her way.

"And what am I?" I ask.

"A huge mistake." She says as she pushes passed me.

Ouch that hurt.
