Getting Ready

Jenah's pov:

Finally it's the end of school. I can't wait to get my mind off of everything and go to the party.

"Hey Jenah are you ready to go?" Nicole asks.

"Yeah let's go." I say.

We get in my jeep and start to drive out of the school parking lot. Then we see a figure walking down the road.

"OMG who is that?" Nicole asks.

"I have no clue." I say.

"It looks like Jacob." she says.

"Should we give him a ride?" I ask.

"Sure why not." she says.

I pull over next to where Jacob was walking.

"Hey do you need a ride?" I ask him.

"Umm... sure." he says.

"Ok get in." I say.

"Soo... how was your first day?" Nicole asks.

"It was uhh interesting." he says.

"Haha yeah I'm sorry about Carina." I say.

He just laughs.

"Yeah she quite..." he starts.

"Annoying?" Nicole and I finish in question.

"Yeah that's one way to put it." he says.

"Wait Nicole are we going to your house or mine?" I ask.

"Mine first I have to get that one cute sweater. Oh and that one top." she says.

"No I think the top is at my house." I say.

"Oh ok well can we still stop?" she asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"Jacob do you want to go to a party with us?" I ask.

"Umm... sure." he says.

"Ok cool." Nicole says.

We then pull into Nicole's driveway. Nicole gets out and walks into the house.

"Come on." I say to Jacob.

We both get out and walk towards the house. I go and open the door.

"Hello Jenah." Andrew Nicole's dad says to me.

"Hi dad." I say.

"Who's this." he asks referring to Jacob.

"This is Jacob he is new to the school." I say.

"It's uhh nice to meet you..." Jacob says.

"Call me Andy." Andy says sticking his hand out.

"Ok ok now that you've meet let's go." Nicole says.

"Why the rush?" Andy asks.

"I just have to go." I say.

"Ok bye." we all say and walk towards my car.

"Ok so my house?" I ask.

"Wait Jacob are you going to need any clothes?" Nicole asks.

He shakes his head no.

"Ok then your house Jenah." she says.

"Why did we leave so fast?" I ask Nicole.

"Because... you know that one guy?" she asks.

"Yeah Shawn?" I ask.

"He just texted me." she says.

We stopped at a stop light. I turned and looked at her.

"What did he say?" I asked.

"He said 'hey Nicole it's Shawn I hope to see you tonight :)'" she says.

The light turned green and we started to drive again.

"Aww that's cute. What did you say?" I ask.

"I haven't answered yet." she says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because I don't know what to say." she says.

We then pulled into my driveway. we all got out this time Jacob came it with us. I walked in first then Nicole then Jacob.

We walked up to my room and started to get ready. I felt bad for Jacob because he just kind of sat on my bed awkwardly while we blasted music on my speakers and got ready.
