YOU WOKE UP TO THE SOUND OF ROARS. You frowned and stood up, yawning. "what can it be now?" you mumble to yourself as you stroll out of the den stopping in your tracks as you see the i-rex fight with something not far from its size. As they stop for a minute, you gasp. Your mate is fighting the t-rex, the same that fought him when he died. You didn't know what to do, not even what to believe. You knew that the t-rex was still alive, but why would it come and save you? Suddenly a coo that you recognized quickly came from beside the cave. You turned your head and saw blue standing there.

"blue?" you asked, keeping your tone down so the i-rex wouldn't get suspicious. "yes, it's me. Come rex is buying us some time to get you out of here," he yipped. You could tell that he was happy but nervous. You smiled and followed after blue but cast a last glance at the i-rex and the t-rex. They were fighting now, and it was getting serious. You could hear your "mate" roar angerly at rex. "why the hell does you attack me?! and how did you find me?!" he roars as he charges at rex.

"blue led me here, and I attack you because it's fun, and you are in my territory. Plus, you're holding someone against their will as your mate," Rex growled as he snapped at the i-rex's neck, taking the slightly more giant dinosaur off guard and making him stumble. "what I do with my things ain't your business, rex! and I didn't even know 'tis was your territory." the indominus snarled as he bit rex in his side. They didn't say anything more as they continued to fight for life and territory.

On the other hand, you are running away after Blue. he leads you to his and your nest. "okay, it's safe here," he pants as he sits down. You sit beside him, panting too but not as much. "thanks, but how did you find me?" you ask. Blue chuckles nervously. "umm, i..." he trails off, and you understand that he's mabey unwilling to talk about it. Not yet. You sigh and curl up, your tail wrapping around him. "it's okay; you don't have to say it yet. I will stay here tonight, but I have to go home tomorrow to my soulmates. I'm sorry," you say and nuzzle him gently, then sleep. Blue buries his head in your stomach, thinking about what he will tell you tomorrow. His feelings he's already declared. Literally.

He slips off into the dreamlands thinking about this.

You wake again by Blue coming inside with a rat in his jaws. "sorry, I couldn't get something better," the raptor says nervously. You only chuckle and stands up, heading over to him, grabbing the rat from his mouth, tearing it to shreds, and giving the half to Blue while taking your own and sitting down. You start to eat it while Blue stands frozen for a minute before he tears into his bite. You two eat in comfortable silence until you're both satisfied. You curl up, Blue laying his head on your tail. "y/n?" he asks, and you hum. He sighs and cranes his head and neck to see you. You look at him with kind eyes.

He takes a deep breath and leans in, pressing his snout to yours for a kiss. You are a little taken back but kisses back. Blue presses his forehead to yours when you pull away for air. "must you leave?" he whimper, sadness slinking into his tone. you sigh and close your eyes. a blue sigh moves away from you, looking out of the cave opening. "I understand," he mumbles after a few minutes. You look at him, confused. "what do you mean?" you say. Blue sighs. he then turns to you, and you wince as you see the tears that glace his eyes. "I understand that you must stay with your soulmates. I accept that I do, but sometimes I wish we were soulmates..:" he trails off as he turns his head away and sobs.

you sigh sadly and use your tail to press him closer to you. "Blue, look at me," you order softly. the raptor does as you say; his eyes were bloodshot from the tears. "Blue, my dear, you will always be my best friend, and that way, my soulmate. Just not romantically. I love you for your compassion and the ability to lead a pack. if I knew your brothers right, would they have been so proud of what you've become" you pause and take your talon under his chin, making him look at you? "I'm proud of the dinosaur you've become. I love you for you, not for your titles," you say and press a soft kiss to his forehead.

By the time you're done, Blue is in tears again, but it's happy tears this time. "oh, nobody has said somtihg that nice to me before. Thank you, Y/n," Blue says as he presses his snout to yours for yet another kiss. you smile into teh kiss, then pull away. "I know you will be fine on your own," you say and smile. You then stand up, presses a small kiss to his forehead, and walk out of the den. "thank you for saving me that other day." you say and spread your wings, then take off into the air.

Blue smiles as he looks at your disappearing figure. Suddenly a shadow comes over him, and he jumps. "she was a good person. you're happy to have one like her" it was Rex. the giant t-rex rumbles and walks away, leaving blue alone. This day was just the start of their new friendship, and you would finally return to the people of yours.

All in all has this been outstanding joinery.
