"Ok, when we get in here, be quiet and don't say anything to anyone." I told Major as we speed walked through the halls.

"Ok." He said rubbing his belly.

It's the first Thursday of hell weeks and we've come far. I will give us that. But that doesn't mean Major and I haven't done things, Id never expected to do.

Everyday has been something new, some challenge that can never be anticipated. Like today, I'm smuggling a sick and possibly contagious 3 year old child onto a college campus.

I genuinely don't know how I got around all the security and professors with a whole child in tote. I guess this was just meant to happen. I haven't taken Major to the doctor because I have to get these exams done. If he seems to get worse then of course I'll take him, but for the time being, he's thuggin it out with some over the counter medicines and at home remedies.

But like I said, this is nothing I planned on or will do in the future, but we're making do for right now. Hopefully no one will notice or care enough to say anything.

I picked Major up and hugged him to my chest and draped the jacket over his head. Thank God he's a pocket sized kid. I quickly walked to my seat as normally as possible and let him stand under the desk.

"Maj,"-

"I'll hold him for an hour and a half and you do the other." She immediately offered.

I immediately breathed out a sigh of relief. It truly takes a village.

"That'll work." I told her with a smile.

I really appreciated the gesture because I knew for sure I wasn't going to be able to hold him the whole time and focus on the test. Thankfully nine times out of ten, he'll be sleep in a minute. I just hope and pray he doesn't distract us from our test too bad.

"It's not bring your kid to school day." One of my classmates snickered.

I rolled my eyes. The teacher took his sweet time walking in the class and sitting his stuff down. It was obvious none of us wanted to be here any more.

"I noticed." I said making a straight face before focusing on the teacher.

Wayyy to damn old to be acting that childish.
