I can see why people ship Seliel and Cole together, but I don't think they would be in a romantic relationship. Note! I never read Who is the Phantom Ninja? as I've only read the Ninjago Wiki article for both Seliel and the graphic novel. Through my research and the few pages that I've managed to read from the internet, Cole and Seliel are just friends in my eyes, but they do look cute together and I do wish Seliel could be part of the show as it is canon that she's part of the true Ninjago timeline.
In Royals, Seliel and Cole are buds that go out on 'dates' to little shops, get dessert type stuff, and helps him kick ass.
