He compares you to his ex (Ethan)

You and Ethan have been together for about a year. You notice that he is acting different towards you all the time. Whenever you guys would argue he would just snap real quick. One night he gets all fed up.
"Hey eth, could you do me a favor and get me a bowl of ice cream?" You said because you just got your wisdom teeth out. You didn't think it was a big deal to him. "Why can't you just get it yourself?" Ethan said in a yelling tone. "Geez calm down you don't need to yell" replying to him. "I wasn't yelling then but now I am! You have legs why can't you just get it yourself?! They removed your wisdom teeth not your legs. Gosh you're so needy all the time and I've had enough of it! (Ex/n) was never this needy!" Ethan said knocking over a glass breaking it.
You just froze standing there. You feel tears forming in your eyes. Ethan stormed off driving away.

A few hours later he came back. Ethan said "hey" "hii.." You said quietly. Your voice was cracky because of all the crying. "Have you been crying?" He said. "No.." You say as you try covering up your tears. Ethan comes up to you. He holds your chin and faces your face towards him. He wipes off your tears. He brings his hands towards his face and face palms herself. "I'm so stupid" Ethan said. "No you're not, I understand if you would compare me to her. All these times I knew it was her all along. I just didn't say anything about it. I don't want to be a burden to you. I'll start packing my bags. Good bye Ethan." You told Ethan as you went upstairs. "He grabs your wrist and holds you back. "No don't leave. I'm so sorry (y/n). I didn't mean to say the things I said earlier. I can't live without you. I went out of line and I promise I won't do it again. I love you so much! Just please don't leave me!" He said. He passionately kissed you. You pulled away and said "you'll have to prove it to me" Ethan kissed you again and pulled away and said "I will prove it. I love you (y/n)". you reply softly saying "I love you too....."
