Summer fling or not? (Grayson)

You and grayson have been seeing each other for the whole summer. A week before you go back to school you both decided to have a picnic at the beach. You and grayson set up a couple of feet away from the waves. Both of you are seated right next to each other. "the ocean is so beautiful" you told Grayson. "Not as beautiful as you" he smirked. "Oh shut up!" you giggled. "summer break ends in a week. That means you would go back to New Jersey." You said sadly. "I know I wish I didn't have to." he said. "I guess this means that we'll part ways?" You questioned. "no.. I hope not." He said. The night before Grayson's flight you both hung out in his hotel room. you were the only ones in the room. You were both cuddling on his bed. "I really don't want this to end (y/n).." Grayson said. "I don't want it to end too. But I know it's best that we part ways.." You said. It was almost time for you to leave so you and Grayson got up and you hugged each other. He lifted your chin and kissed you. You held back your tears. You hugged again and both of you didn't let go for a long time. "Grayson, promise me something?" You said without breaking the hug. "Yeah?" He said. "I think it would be easier if we never talk after this" this hurt your heart as you said it. "(Y/n) I can't.." He said. "its for the best.." You said. You kissed his cheek and said "good bye grayson..." "Good bye (y/n).." He said. You walked down the hallway of the hotel crying. You didn't want grayson to see you cry. You didn't want to be a distraction with his career that's why you asked him to promise you that. That was the last you saw of Grayson.
