He finds out you like him (Grayson)

You had a big crush on Grayson for as long as you can remember.
This year you guys had 2 classes together.
Your teacher put you guys as lab partners. "Hey I'm Grayson" Grayson said as he sat next to me. "Hi uhm I'm uhm (y/n)" you said shyly.
It's been about four months since you guys have been lab partners. You and Grayson became really close. You just texted your friend that you really like Grayson now. A couple minutes later grayson came and sat next to you in class. The teacher was late so you guys were just waiting for him. You went to use the restroom and left your phone.
*ding ding! 1 new notification*
Your friend just replied saying "omg are you going to tell Grayson your feelings towards him?!" Grayson saw the text and was shocked. He held your phone in his hand. You walked back in the room and saw Grayson holding your phone. He put it back on the table. You sat down next to him and saw the text your friend sent. Grayson didn't say anything to you the whole class time. After class you two were the last ones in the classroom. You broke the awkward silence and said "hey gray uhm that text was nothing, (y/f/n) was just goofing around" "uhh okay?" Grayson said in a dull tone. You knew Grayson knew that the text was something.

A few days goes by. You couldn't handle the awkwardness so you requested to your teacher to switch lab partners. You saw a bit of shock when Grayson saw that he has a new lab partner. After class Grayson comes up to you next to your locker. "hey (y/n)" he said. "oh hey" you replied. "Okay look you didn't have to switch lab partners" Grayson said straight up. "I only did it so you won't feel uncomfortable" "I'm not saying that I'm uncomfortable" "well then I don't understand what you're trying to say" you said right away. "I just ugh."Grayson said sighing. "I just like you back too" he said right after sighing. "What?" You said. "I know I made things awkward at first but I'd like to get to know you more. So I wanted to ask you on a date?" Grayson said. "Of course I'll go on a date with you" you said happily. Grayson gave you a big hug and put his arms around you while you guys walked to class.
