As I read the note, I began to panic. What had happened to Lexus? I knew that they were some sort of slimy creature, I mean, just look at them! And they looked, weird... it's not like we lived in one of the enchanted kingdoms, half of them had been destroyed out of the jealousy of other nations, and the other half had given a white flag and gone into hiding. But my main question was still to be answered, what would become of me? I began to look around to see if there was any sort of exit from the carriage, I threw pillows and curtains around, checked every nook and cranky to see if there was any way out, all of a sudden, there was a knock from the back of the carriage. That's when the attack came. I pulled away the curtains to see what looked like half the population of Cartimenta. Pushing, shoving, and screaming trying to get close to the carriage, or... me?

Well as soon as I realize this, I become very scared, I learned by watching the news that the king has been taxing the hell out of the capital, and they would do ANYTHING to get the prices lowered, heck, if I lived here, I would probably do the same! There were protesters holding up signs, singing freedom songs, vandalizing everything in sight, there were even some people I knew from magazines like Yama Richards and Komi Winters, waving flags and speaking bible verses about god and his plan. "Ooooh boy, this is going to be one hell of a rollercoaster ain't it?" As I sigh into the pillows and look out my window to see the tomatoes, being thrown outside of my window and people screaming things that might make one have bad thoughts. It looked like the whole population was outside, protesting against the increasing tax rate.

The guards were fending off all of the people trying to get near the carriage, but there were too many, and some started to attack the carriage. There were people banging on the doors, people taking off the wheels of the carriage so we couldn't go anywhere, and the worst of all, there were people on the roof, drilling into the least protected part of the carriage. A man's hand pops inches away from my head, holding a gun, I begin to scream and he covers my mouth. Ten seconds later, blood starts dripping form his hand, I touch, it's gone limp. a loud bang comes and then, what seems like gallons of blood starts pouring from the roof onto my clothing. I hear the door unlock and I am swiped away by one of the guards into a smaller, less formal but definitely more protected carriage. It is locked from the inside, I can here the few of my belonging being thrown in the back, and then the carriage starts ripping forward towards the castle.

"Are you okay ma'am?", one of the guards ask me.

"Yeah I'm fine, just got a bit of blood on me.' I say as I motion to the splatters of blood on me, "So... what happened to that guy one top of the carriage?"

"Well, when we saw how desperate people were to get in the carriage, we sent half of the guards to get a new one, and that's when the attack came, when we were very outnumbered. One guy stuck onto the carriage, we saw he was armed, so we tried to force him off, but he said he would shoot you if we moved or acted, so Aspe- one of the guards shot him dead. After everyone saw he was shot dead, they either ran away, or ran towards the hole in the roof of the carriage to try to get in, so we took you and your supplies out of the old carriage into this steel one to ensure your safety."

I was shocked, they killed a man who maybe just wanted to talk to me? And people really hated this kingdom so much, they wanted to kill me? To make a stand? To rid of a blue blood? I didn't know what they wanted with the laws, but I definitely knew they wanted me dead. We traveled for 4-ish hours, we made a stop at a diner, I was given a private booth, my own custom meal and I used the bathroom and then I was taken back to the carriage. We travelled for a few days, I couldn't believe how much they spent the excessive tax money from the capital on expanding and protection, living in Illea was expensive, but it guaranteed protection. My city had absolutely no protection but tax rates were very low. That meant I spent my younger years in the cities rusty, old underground bunker while the rebels from East Asia stormed the country. Of course, Illea was fine because of the walls but everyone in my city who didn't make it to the bunker was killed.

I woke up the next morning, just like all the rest. but when I looked out my window, I saw the carriage from a few days ago, It was completely destroyed. On the side, there was what looked like dirt, spray-paint and... BLOOD? But... it wasn't the guy from earlier blood, it was almost all over the side of the carriage and different shades of red. But what caught my eye the most was what it said on the side...
