The Tower

Yay! Chapter 6!   Also thank you for 204 reads on my first book. 😭 it makes me so happy. But yea in this chapter we are going to meet the young Avengers (expect Yelena)  so yea enjoy.

Alex pov:

I just stood there for a second. "Wait, me an Avenger?"  I ask Kate giggled slightly. "Yea that's what I said."  I was still in shock.

"Well if you guys want a ride we are leaving soon."  Rocket said.  "Can you guys wait for like an hour so we can get showered up and changed?"  Kate asked they all nodded and we ran back to the house.

Kate pov:

We both quickly showered and got changed. "Are you ready to."  My sentence was cut off my Alex throwing my bow at me. "You might need that.  And this."  She threw my quiver as well.

"Ouch."  I said rubbing my forehead.  She just laughed and put her arms around my waist. "Are you sure that I can be an Avenger?"  She asked as I gave her a small kiss on the neck.

"Yes of course, you have amazing powers and you can fight because you were trained in the red room."  She nods and gives me a small kiss then let's go of me. "Hold onto my hand."  She says I know what's coming.

"Alex wait."  She teleported both of us outside to where the ship was waiting.  "Woah how did you do that?"  Thor asked. "Magic."  Alex said.

Time skip

Pepper pov:

I was sitting in a chair in the new Avengers tower waiting for the next generation of earth's mightiest hearts to arrive.  I waited a little longer before checking my phone. 

Suddenly there was a sound outside that slightly sounded like Tony landing his suit on the roof.  Mindlessly I ran to the roof expecting to see Tony but is wan Rhodey.

"Oh hi Rohdey."  I say. Don't be stupid Pepper, he's been dead for almost 2 years. "You ok Pepper?"  Rhodey asks bringing me back to reality. "Yes of course, do you know where Wanda and the others are?"  I shook his head. "There is a ship heading our way, I think it's the Guardians."  I nod.

We both head downstairs to the meeting room.  There was a noise on the roof.  "I think that's them."  Rhodey says. I nod and shakily stand up. "You sure you're ok?"  I nod and compose myself.

Soon there are a bunch of people coming down the stairs. I see Peter Quill, Rocket, Nebula, Groot, Drax, Mantis, Thor, Kate Bishop, and Kate's wife. "Welcome to the new Avengers tower."  I say trying to sound happy.

"This place is amazing."  Kate says while looking around. "I think it's better than the old one."  Thor says.

Soon Wanda, Bucky, Sam, and the other new kid Peter Parker show up. "Hi Pepper."  Wanda says as she gives me a big hug. "Hey pep."  Bucky says as he walks over to the bar. "Good to see you guys."  I say trying to stay calm.

"So what's this new threat you called us about."  I sigh and get to explaining. 

Wanda pov:

"There is a man calling himself Ronin."  She begins "real creative."  Kate says, "yes, he is saying that he found a way to recreate the blip."  I shudder knowing that 5 years of my life I was a pile of dust.

I look over to Bucky and Sam who both look worried.  "How is he going to do that, he doesn't have the stones. Steve put them back."  Bucky says. "There are people all over the world, mostly girls who escaped from the red room absorbing the powers of one of the infinity stones." 

The room is filled with shock. You could feel it in the air.  "Who?"  Alex asks.  I try to read her mind but there is something stopping me. I tilt my head. Weird. I think to myself.  

Alex pov:

Pepper just told us that there are people out there who have the abilities of the infinity stones and I'm one of them. I knew I had the space stone but there was something I had been hiding since the blip ended.

I had new abilities. I think it's the mind stone. I think this because if I focus really hard I can hear what people are thinking.

"Who are all the people?"  I ask again. "Well we have one of them here."  She says motioning towards the door. I can feel someone behind the door. This has to be a fucking joke.  Think as I feel who it is. Then the door swing open.

"Hello everyone."  The voice has a thick Russian accent.

Ooo cliff hanger!

This was a difficult chapter to write. I hopefully things that happened in the book make more sense.

But yea I might not platt for a while bc I'm going on vacation. But I'll try to post. :)
