Oooohhh a cliffhanger
Ok well I'm sick rn so if I don't update as much I'm sorry
But anywho enjoy the chapter
Pepper pov:
The alarm went off in the middle of the night. I sat straight up and walked to the meeting room.
Some of the Avengers were dressed in their suits while others struggled to get the rest of their suit on.
"Where's the threat?" Sam asked I clicked in the table and opened the map. "Time square." I say rubbing one of my eyes.
"Let's move." Bucky said as Alex grabbed onto a few people teleporting them. She reappeared and teleported the rest of the group.
Kate pov:
We arrived at time square to see complete chaos. "Holy shit." Alex said as a man started floating in the air. "That can't be good." Peter said as the man sent a wave of purple energy at us.
"Shit." Bucky said diving to the side. "What's the plan?" Wanda yelled into coms. "He's drawing his power from somewhere. Find the source and shut it down." Alex said moving bystanders out of the way.
"I'm on it." Wanda said flying off somewhere. Then out of nowhere a bunch of alien looking things started attacking us.
"Move the bystanders out of the way and take these aliens out." Sam said shooting a few with his guns. I pulled a few trick arrows out of my quiver and shot them at the aliens.
"A little help over here." Peter said struggling to o fight off the aliens. Alex shot lasers out of her eyes and got the aliens off Peter.
"Nice job Alex." Rohdey said flying over me. "Well I try my best." Alex said taking a few more aliens out. "Guys I think I found the powers source." Wanda said over coms.
"I'm on my way." Alex said teleporting to Wanda. "Umm Mr Rhodey a little help?" Peter said struggling. "No problem kid." Rhodey said shooting the aliens.
Alex pov:
"This is the most complex thing I have ever seen." I say looking at the small power box.
"I have a feeling that's not a good thing." Wanda said blocking some more of the power beams. "It's a terrible thing. I just need to find a way to open the box. But I can't open it." I say frustrated.
Wanda used her powers and sliced the top of the box off. "ARE YOU INSANE?" I yell. "YOU COULD HAVE SET SOMETHING OFF!" She just smiles and shrugs. "Sorry." She said going back to fighting the aliens.
I went back to box and looked at the intricate wire patterns. "Damn it." I say pulling some wires out. "Will you please hurry up Alex." I hear Sam yell over coms. "I'm trying Sam."
I pull some more wires and the aliens shut down. The floating man falls to the ground.
We all run over to the man and pull his mask off.
It's full of wires.
"Damn it." Sam says throwing the mask. "Welcome to the game. Avengers." A voice says before the body starts beeping.
I quickly teleport it to a remote location where it explodes.
Okkkk ik it's a short chapter
Its bc I'm not feeling too hot rn
