Alex pov:

We all sat around the meeting table looking at the screen.

"Wanda has somehow taken a whole town hostage in some sort of magical barrier that is impossible to get through. Anyone have an idea?" Sam asked slamming his fist on the table.

We all sat in silence and waited for someone to speak up.

"What if I went in. I have the same powers as the stone that gave Wanda her powers." Everyone looked at me and Kate shook her head.

"I don't think that's a good idea." She grabbed my hand and I sighed. "I can't lose you." I grimaced and pulled her in.

"There's no other way Kate." Rohdey said, she sniffed and gripped my shirt. "I'm sorry guys, but we have to find out why she did this." I nodded and Kate let go of my shirt. She ran to the elevator and got in. I sighed and ran after her.

"Let her go." Pepper said, I slipped inside the elevator and Kate groaned and turned around wiping her eyes.

"Kate listen, I have to find out what's going on. You have to find out this whole thing with Harry." She sniffed and I put a hand on her arm. "Please Kate, I have to do this." She just walked over to me and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"Get our girl back." I nodded and we got to the roof. Bucky and Sam were sitting on the edge and Sam passed something to him.

"Hope we're not interrupting anything." I said sitting next to Bucky. He shook his head and stared down at the picture of Steve and Wanda and Nat. It was taken shorty before they had gotten to Wakanda. "I never knew Steve of Nat personally, but I can tell how much they meant to you." Bucky started to cry and hugged Sam. I rubbed his back and he turned back to me.

"You get going. We need our Wanda back." I nodded and stood up. I looked down and teleported to the ground. I looked back up and saw Kate waving. I waved back and got onto my bike.

Alex I'm glad you could join our show.

Alex pov:

I felt a shiver go down my spine as I pulled up to the Westview sign. I looked at it and turned off my bike. I looked around and rolled it into the ditch and covered it with some leaves. I went back up to the sign and saw a reflective surface. I put my hand through it and saw Wanda and Nat driving into down in an old car. I pulled my hand out and looked at it.

"Ah fuck this." I said getting ready to go all the way through. I pushed inside and when I landed on the other side I wasn't myself anymore.

"Alex what are you doing on my grass?" I looked up and saw Nat.

"I'm so sorry I guess I forgot to put my kickstand out." I said standing up my bike. A laugh track played and I spun around. What the fuck? I pulled the key out and walked over to Nat.

"Natasha who is it?" Wanda asked walking out of the house. I waved and she looked confused happy and pissed at the same time. "Alex, come in." I smiled and walked inside their house. It was neatly decorated and I was ushered to the couch.

"So what brings you around here?" Nat asked as Wanda sat next to her. They casually held pointer fingers and I smiled.

"Just making sure you all don't need any help with your appliances." I said adjusting the brim of my mechanics hat.

"I didn't realize they actually hired you." Wanda said putting a hand on her chest. I smiled and looked down at my jumpsuit with the mechanics logo on it.

"Took a lot of convincing and proving I'm just as good as those boys." A laugh track played again and I just kept smiling. Nat nodded and Wanda clung to her arm. "So you folks need anything?" Wanda nodded and I stood up and picked up my tool box.

"The stove in the kitchen has been giving me some troubles." He eyes briefly flashed red.

"Perfect." I said following her to the kitchen. The doorbell rang and Nat stood up to get it. We walked to the kitchen and Wanda shut the door.

"What are you doing here?" I took off the hat and threw it on the counter. "Alex, tell me why you are here." I ran a hand through my hair. It was cropped short.

"They sent me to make sure you were ok. And this is nuts Wands you brought Nat back to life and you have a whole town thinking they are in some sort of 50's sitcom?" She shushed me and the kitchen window opened.

"Wanda dearest our neighbor Agatha is here." She smiled and walked out the door. I got to work on the stove and felt my conscious slipping away like I was becoming the character Wanda wanted me to be. I closed the oven and Agatha came into the kitchen.

"Oh and who's this handsome lady?" I blushed and looked down at my hands, my ring was gone. I gulped and wiped my hand off on a rag.

"Alex Bishop." I looked at Wanda before holding my hand out.

"And are you just the mechanic or do you know Wanda and Natasha?" She took my hand and shook it. I looked at Wanda and she stepped over to me.

"Oh we've known Alex since school days. She became a mechanic here in Westview and we followed her." Agatha nodded and slipped something into my hand before letting go of it. I smiled and looked at the paper. It had her address on it.

"Well I'm all finished here, I'll see you tonight for dinner." I grabbed my hat and put it on before leaving. I walked over to my bike and put the key inside. Suddenly it was sunset and I was wearing a colored button up shirt and grey slacks. The fuck just happened?

I walked up to the door and felt my conscious slipping again. I fought the urge before the door opened.

"Alex, thanks for fixing up the stove Wanda has been cooking like crazy." I smiled and walked inside, the house was filled with smells of spices and cooked meat. I smiled and sat at the table. Wanda brought out all the food and we all started to eat.

"So Alex, are you going to Agatha's house after this?" Wanda asked, I nodded and Nat passed me a glass of wine. I took it and Wanda looked at me again.

"Yes, I am." They both looked at me. Ok this is creepy.

"Well have a good time." She took a sip of her wine I nodded and took a sip too. After that everyone went back to normal and I left a little later. I looked across the street and gulped. I walked across and knocked on her door. It opened and Agatha was only in a robe.

"Oh I am so sorry." I said looking away. She just laughed and walked inside the house.

"Come in." She called in a singsong y voice. I looked behind me and walked inside and closed the door behind me. I walked inside and Agatha was on the couch. I sat in a chair across from her and she sat up. "So here's how this is going to go. You are going to give in and play along with Wanda's little scheme and I will help you with anything you need." She winked and I felt a lump in my throat.

"I don't think that's a good idea."  I looked down at my hands. The sensation of the my ring was still on my finger but the ring itself was gone. I tried thinking of Kate but her face was blurry and I couldn't. I tried thinking of our wedding day but everything was mushing together.

"Tick tock times running out. So what do you say?" I looked up again and felt myself slip away fully.

"My Agatha I must say you are stunning." She laughed and I smiled like a fool.

Anyway this book is going on so many different directions and I had a plan but it's been over a year so 😭
