(I can't find the artist, this is an old pic i found in my camera roll, please help me give them the credit they deserve for the amazing art!)

Ink let out a shaky sight, trying to control his overwhelming emotions and his irregular breathing. He told himself that it would get better, that everything would be ok and that he would move on eventually.

The truth is that he didn't wanna move on.
He wanted Gin back, and now he would never see him again. What was he supposed to tell Dream?! The little guy was a stone statue last month, he's not ready to loose someone again, especially after what happened to his brother!

Ink choked a sob, holding onto the pale worn out blue fabric that used to be his best friend's jacket. His breathing got more uneven and heavy, he retracted his legs against his body and held onto them, resting his face on his knees, slowly rocking himself back and forth to calm himself down, just like Top sometimes does when comforting him (top is a gaster au and he's a father figure to Ink).

As he got a hold of his breath, little footsteps could be heard from the stairs, stopping for a few seconds and then hurrying down. Ink looked up to see a confused and worried kid speed walking up to him and embrace him in a hug.
« Little guy.. You're supposed to be asleep.. » Ink said to the best of his ability.
« I felt a lot of Negativity from downstairs so I went down to check on you.. Are you ok? You're not gonna turn your pain in anger like my brother right?! Do you want me to call Mr. Gin?? » The small child said, looking up at Ink with tears in his eyes. Ink's eyes teared up again.
« Dream.. Gin's not here anymore. He's.. in a better place now. » The protector of aus said between sobs
« What.. I.. it's unfair! Is it my fault? It must be! Everyone I get close to dies!! I'M SUPPOSED TO BRING JOY, NOT DEATH! Something's wrong with me.. » The child sobbed, holding onto Ink's shirt for dear life and starting to sob uncontrollably. Ink took a deep breath, he shouldn't show weakness in front of Dream, he's too fragile for that. He scooped the crying child and sat him on his lap, rocking him and reassuring him that everything would be ok and that nothing that had happened to him was his fault until they both fell asleep on the couch.
