"What's up Wise Girl?" Percy asked once they were far away from the dining pavilion.

"I have a confession to make to you." Annabeth started. She wrung her hand nervously. She glanced up at Percy but couldn't handle looking into her eyes.

"I-I have a boyfriend," Annabeth said.

Percy giggled and covered her face with her hands.

"I know, silly," Percy said.

"You knew?" Annabeth asked, shocked.

"Of course! I may be a Seaweed brain but I'm not oblivious." Percy said smiling.

Annabeth exhaled, relief coursed through her.

Now one secret was in the open.

'Time to break the next one.'

"So...John, huh?" Percy said nudging her friend.

Annabeth blushed, all previous thoughts getting drowned out by the embarrassment.

"Yeah....he's cute, nice, smart, and I've known him for a while. He's even helped me a bit with designing Olympus." Annabeth confessed. By then her face was a shade of bright pink and her voice an octave higher than normal.

Her heart fluttered and her stomach did summersaults just thinking about him. Percy smiled and put an arm around the blonde.

"I'm happy for you! You deserve someone who'll be good to you." Percy said.

'Gonna have to give him the talk later.' Percy thought and put that in a list of things to do before the day was over.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner! I thought you would feel like a third wheel if you found out, and I was afraid it would damage our friendship." Annabeth apologized.

"Don't be silly Wise Girl, nothing can break our friendship. Not Hera, not Tartarus, and most certainly not John." Percy said confidently.

Annabeth smiled contentedly.

She sat down on a boulder and watched the sunrise. Percy sat down beside her and grabbed her hand.

"Nothing can tear us apart," Annabeth murmured.

~~~~~~
After thirty minutes the two came out of the forest.
Annabeth said bye to her friend and started heading over to the Apollo table in search of her boyfriend. She found him and kissed him on the cheek.
When she pulled away John looked up at his girlfriend, a smile dancing on his lips.
"Ready?" He asked offering his arm, in his other he had a picnic basket.
Annabeth nodded and took his invitation.
The couple walked over to the beach. John opened up the basket and pulled out a blanket.
He laid it down on the sand and offered Annabeth a seat.
She gladly took and cuddled up to her boyfriend.
"I'm guessing you told Percy?" He asked.
"Mhm." She said.
"Good. Now I don't have to hide us anymore." He said smirking. "Doing it for two weeks was way too long for me."
